Alternative Hobby/activity Thread

After seeing Captain Slug and Carbon post a thread on their other hobbies (both do an excellent job and put in tremendous effort and their own skill into each one), I think we all might want to see each others' hobbies.
If anyone partakes in the same hobby, they'll know who in the NIC might be able to help/aid/make conversation with their other non-Nerf hobby, but of course we could respect this Nerf-related forum's dedicated subject by keeping the non-Nerf hobbies discussion to PMs, and through this thread (and PMs) we can share our views and websites we use to excel our knowledge in the hobby.
Let me start off here.
Besides Nerf (which I consider not a very labor intensive but something that satisfies my hunger for tinkering), my other (personal) big hobby is cycling. I personally do not like the high-tech competitive cyclist views on equipment, but am more of a bike camping/touring kind of person. PM me if you have any more questions.
I like to make kites, and also like vintage computers (specifically the Commodore/Amiga with MOS...) and enjoy the occasional FPS (honestly, who doesn't?). I also like reading up on different hobbies, and have been looking at making exotic stringed instruments as well as building lasers and cathode ray tubes.

Paintball- Go out with my friends alot, theres a nice place down in boston, Its pretty cheap there.
iPod and iPhone tweaking/hacking/modding- I've made one or two themes so far, hoping to finish my latest soon. I mostly do delnoch themes.
Modding computers/game systems- I just recently started this. I'm in the middle of modding a Psp 1k.
Xbox- I love my 360, but I really suck at just about every game.
Thats about it.

I play some other board/card games like Carcassonne, Scrabble, Munchkin, poker
I love Legos and have a pretty nice collection of Star Wars kits. Build non-kit stuff too once in a while.
I don't know if I'd call XBOX a hobby, but I do have an unhealthy obsession with building gamerscore. Up to about 70k right now, yes I know it's pointless.

She took me 18 months to get to this point, most of my junior and senior years of high school. I still spend hours every weekend working on things for her. Currently refinishing snowplow brackets and hardtop for the winter, then putting heaters in the seats. She's a 1979 Jeep CJ7 with an AMC 304 V8, 3-speed, full fiberglass body, 35" tires, and 2 12" subwoofers. Overkill? Mabye. Accomplish my childhood dream? Definitely.
And since people always ask, roughly 7.5 mpg, I sympathize with no one on gas prices.

I'll upload a newer picture when I can find it.
Besides that, this past year I've really gotten into playing Heroscape. I play disc golf whenever I get the chance, and tennis whenever I've got somebody to play with. I used to be quite good at the string bass, although I haven't played for a couple years since I got out of school. I like to mess around with Aero Ace R/C planes. I also enjoy dumpster diving, collecting Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles stuff, and buying old games (mainly for the box art since they are usually unplayable). I read a lot, watch a lot of B-class movies, and play some xbox as well.
In the next couple of months I'll be working with a friend to submit a tv show pilot to Channel 101. I highly recommend checking out Gigabots to get a feel for what their shows are like.
That's about all I can think of, plus I have to get going and do stuff.

• I have a love for SNES and 64 games and trying to beat them with friends.
• Racquetball, for physical activity. Awesome sport even if you have never played I recommend it.
• Trying new and different Scotch and Whisky would have to be my one true ‘adult’ passion: tastings, events, or just going to nicer bars and seeing what they have.
-Guns shoot bullets that kill people
-Blasters shoot darts that tag people
I do not play with guns.

I have other "collections" like lego's and warhammer, but work is busy lately so they are gathering dust on shelves...
And then there is the almighty Xbox 360, I like playing co-op campain games and firefight in Halo ODST.
