Seeing as I am a complete noob, i'm trying to find a different way to attach tubing to the at2k without glueing the shit out of it. I tried a coupler and decided to do this test, why do you think the balloon is loosing air?I may be able to help, but what exactly are you trying to accomplish? I need a better explanation, you're a bit unclear.
Effeminate edit : I found out that the leak is from the pump to coupler, should I fill that slace that the nub that comes out with hotglue?

My dad barely trusts me with a dremel, I have superglue and hotglue. If it is REALLY needed I can use Gorilla Glue.Get goop, and some larger sized tubing you can stick the 2k tubing inside off, then seal it off with the goop.

Goop can be easily removed with acetone(?) when it's still mushy, and can be peeled off fairly easily when it dries, but if your state has inhalant abuse laws your going to need someone older to buy it for you.

No. Not really, it's not very airtight, it won't work for long if it does at all.
One tube of Goop is ~$4 at your hardware store, hardly expensive, and you'll never (almost) need more.
Blue, where is acetone sold? I've never looked for it, but it is certainly a good solvent to have.

I don't know where pure acetone is sold, but I have been using "Goof off" which has an ingredient list of Acetone, Xylene, Ethylbezene, Butyl Carbitol, Petroleum Distillates, and Toulene. Putting wet goop in this thins it quite a bit so you can get thinner layers much more easily too. I bought it at OSH.

When you put hotglue on Krazy Glue it emits a invisable gas, and when it gets into your eyes it HURTS. You can also smell it

Krazy glue will do some pretty Krazy things to you.
When you see the pink elephants though, its time to stop.
But seriously, you should wear eye protection when working with any form of super glue combined with hot glue.
I find that it helps a lot.

Amazing goop is most certently, Amazing. It's extremly airtight and will last forever on a 2K. Just make sure you use a libral amount.

You can find acetone in the paint section at Home Depot, maybe at Wal-mart, too but I haven't checked.
I'm not sure if it's 100%, but the can says "Acetone" on it.
Nigtfinder, if you're ever checking for leaks and you don't want to dip the whole thing in water try just rubbing really soapy where you suspect leaks, if it bubbles you know there's a leak.

But with your materials, get the hot glue as hot as possible, put in on the coupler and put the tubing on on top of that. Superglue it, then duct tape and e-tape it. The combination of the three lesser adhesives end up getting an okay one. Still not as good as goop.
