1. I love you.
2. Where in the fucking hell is Draconis.

Have you considered putting a speed control or rheostat on a motor so you could put a little "english" on the ball?? I read that you melted resistors I was thinking more along the lines of the variable speed drill trigger.

My thought as well. Either a trigger, or a potentiometer on the side. You could skip the series/parallel setup, and just dial it to the speed you want.Have you considered putting a speed control or rheostat on a motor so you could put a little "english" on the ball?? Also, another thing... Did you paint your balls to look like Poke balls, because they look awesome.
Do you really think you need all the power of both motors? One of the things I certainly would have tried is to put a big motor on just one, and use some kind of belt and pulley, or gear system to run the other. The pulley/gear sizes could be altered to change the relative wheel speeds.
I love this. This blaster is a physical embodiment of Nerf. Goofiness, creativity, a whole lot of awesome, and balls.
Er...maybe not the last one.My thought as well. Either a trigger, or a potentiometer on the side. The shoulder strap redistributes the weight pretty well, thereby assuring my continued scrawnieness. But almost 9 pounds? Shit, you'll be ripped after a few wars of wielding that thing.
