ok i just bought backer rod (the stuff you make stefans out of). so i had a few questions. first i have 1/2 backer rod but i ran out of cpvc so does it fit? also what's a good length? is there a easy way to cut it perfectly?

1.) 1/2" CPVC, crayola barrels, other
2.) depends on the gun (air power) ex. BBBB=long barrel, NF = relatively short barrel
3.) exacto knife, scissors, nothing is going to do it perfectly
