-If ranges Decrease
-3 shot Eliminator? :D

OTHER TOPIC:
-What kind of CPVC pipe is need to re-barrel a Maverick?
-Where can I find an AR-15 Spring inside of a local lowe's?
-Do Lowe's stores sell balsa sticks? (For longshot clip mods)
-What can I use to separate the Longshot Clip Case? (without snapping apart the plastic)

Thanks in Advance :D

(I'm actually going to be able to buy barrel material for once this weekend!)

RSCB (Heres what I used)
-4 inches of 1/2" CPVC
-6 inches of 1/2" copper
-(One) 1/2" cpvc endcap
-(One) 1/2" cpvc T joint
-(One) 1/2" cpvc elbow
- Two 1 inch segements of 1/2" cpvc (this is put between the T joint and elbow to create a better seal)
Yes range will decrease a little, but your ROF (rate of fire) will increase!
Rebarrel a maverick- You should use 1/2" cpvc (though PETG fits nicely in the stock barrels) But if you do decide to use 1/2" CPVC, you have to make the stock barrels wider (I used a drill bit and used a circular motion in each one) so they can house the 1/2" CPVC.

I'm pretty sure the "AR-15" part means it's a spring that's used in an actual gun, namely the AR-15. So, I don't think Lowe's would have one. Look online.

Umm. for the barrel of the RSCB, if it was to be any shorter, would anything drastic happen tothe range? (I'm running on darts useing .12gm BBs (for me they work out))

and which is cheaper? Copper or Brass? or does it have to be JUST copper?

Copper is cheaper. 1/2" copper fits nicely into the 1/2" cpvc end cap, so don't get brass. Six inches is the perfect size for the barrel of the RSCB. It can hold around FIVE 1.5 inch stefans. Don't cut the barrel down anymore than six inches, otherwise it defeats the purpose of having an RSCB. I'm guessing that if you cut the RSCB barrel shorter it would increase range, because then there would be less dead space in the barrel, after each stefan shot. But like I said, if you cut the barrel to short and it only holds 2-3 darts, it defeats the purpose of an RSCB clip.

2-3 shots is what I need but I'm making more than one lawl 2-3 is something I'd use for my smallest secondary

And how much does it cost for copper? 5$ for like a foot?

I got a two foot piece of copper at my local ACE, for $3.15 (including tax). They sell copper at Lowes too, but in larger quantities.

It doesn't have to be copper. It just has to be something that your darts can slide through easily. I personally use 19/32 brass for the clip and 17/32 brass for the barrel, both placed inside 1/2 pvc and connected to a 1/2 pvc T, but that's because my darts slide effortlessly through 19/32 brass and are snug in 17/32. I know that lots of people use 1/2 inch copper and cpvc for the clip and barrel respectively, but 1/2 copper is too small for my darts. Use what works best for you. Experiment!

Noice, 3.15 for 2 feet? I personally think that's a bonus xD

@TantumBull:
Idk it's just something I thought that'd be cool aha, thanks for shooting that thought down... xD

I thought RSCBs didn't lose range from what I read in the archives of the Haven

While we're asking questions and all, I have the nubiest question I have ever asked. Its simply because I never really found out. I've searched and found nothing dating back to the beginning of the forum. What the hell does RSCB stand for? I have my ideas, but I've never seen it spelled out? Anybody?

IDK anyhting about that, all I know is that it's called an RSCB, 3DBBQ made it so IDK what the acronym stands for.

Other than that... I just wished they like stickied the RSCB "How to" in the homemade section considering it's a "HOMEMADE clip"

OH ABOUT THE RSCB...
Ironic there was a BBB with an RSCB and he made it our of CPVC/PVC and he had to bore our some of the CPVC so the darts will slide in, for brass/copper procedure be uneeded for the RSCB, or will I have to flare the copper/brass?

It depends on your setup I think. I'm using brass in 1/2" PVC and require no flaring.

You're going to want to flare/funnel your barrel sheath and material. I do it and I very rarely get misfires, maybe once a war.

I plan on making an RSCB out off 1/2 PVC, with 9/16th brass nested all the way throught, the barrel section of the brass will have tightening rings to hold the dart. Will it work?

Lol, go with what I did, Unless you don't have a Lowe's that sell CPVC 3/4in to 1/2 reducer tees

It really depends on your dart fit, as long as the darts can slide through it to the tightening rings, you should be ok. However, if that doesn't work, you should be fine without the brass in the clip part, with only a slight increase in deadspace.

I have some experience with using some tighter piping/tubing for the holder section. Even if your darts slide nicely through 9/16 brass, they won't if there's more darts ahead impeding airflow, ie you have to hold your gun downwards longer or flick more than usual to get a dart loaded. It's not worth the trouble. Find a holder section that you can plug one end with a dart and still drop another dart down at a good speed.

well, boil a good size pan of water, dip the clip in it and let the glue soften for a while, then take out the clip and pry lose the 2 tabs on the small sides of the clip, take out the 2 screws and your done!

remember: taking something glued appart requires really hot water and patience.....

If you are still looking for the AR-15 spring. Here is a website. The spring you are talking about is a buffer spring for the AR-15 which is basically an M-16.
