¡RECAP TIME!

DeGood:
+ I had a really great time!
+ My BBB shot as far as 'trons, which was pleasantly surprising.
+ Meeting Erik and being his wingman/on his team for like 80% of the time.
+ Meeting Julian for 10 minutes - When'd you get braces?
+ People liked the Uruk-Hai bow.
+ My new boots fulfilled their purpose and more!
+ The Marvelous salvos on the BBB had no barrels, which (as Venom remarked) was funny.
+ I learned that range doesn't play as much of a part in things as you think. (+Bow vs. NF round)
+ Flagbearer was quite fun!
+ COD4NERF
+ Julian left his At2k pump sections there. They were quickly scavenged. (I'll pay you sometime, don't worry)
+ Wasn't as cold as I expected
+ Pistol Splat didn't break!
+ People liked the weathering on my disk shot

So it was a very good second war!

Oh, and somebody has my 4" CPVC speedloader. The barrels are attached pretty close together, and it has black e-tape on it. Somebody thought you had it, tots...

Highlights:
+ Thermal underwear and mittens kept me warm. Mitten-compatible blasters are important for winter!
+ Damn the risk, I used my Splitfire all day in the cold. It's a very fun blaster.
+/- Venom used a singled Jobar all day, that bastard. I got shot in the knucles (without a glove), but it didn't hurt too much. The Slug darts are nice that way, and this demonstrates why we're using them.
+ I love wingman rounds.
+ Everyone giggled like a little kid when they used my Bow and Arrow set (not the nerf kind), and venom's Wayne Tech Blaster. We enjoy the little things in life.

- I lost 500 darts.
- The whole rear of the tank on my Jobar ruptured. Not sure if it's fixable.

Overall, this was a lot of fun. I love Nerfing in the winter.

• Getting shot tween the eyes by one of four splitfire shot from beev: need danger to make it a sport!
• T-Bell: MAN I love T-Bell! And Ven’s lusty stares while I eat burritos. Kidding, I know I’m dead to you.
• I hit like 30 people while we both were running.
• Around-a-tree sword kills. ANY sword kills. Melee RULES. Man I like T-bells.
• Quick turnaround between games. Yeah, it was quick compared to other times.
• Getting mad chicks cuz I do such manly shit
• And just actually seeing you guys and not just reading about you. I do not have any problem with any of you, nay I think I like you.

Anyways, despite the cold I had a great time! Nothing broke, although I did have to start keeping my blaster under my coat to keep it warm and working. It was pretty cool that we were able to use up most of the park too.

Those airsoft shotguns from Ax-Man are amazing, I ended up stopping by to pick up a clear one as well after the war.

Any chance of having another one before the year is up? I would be down most likely.

Hot glue fails hard in very cold weather.

I'm a big fan of hot glue, but this war and last winter's wars really drove home this point. Your winter blasters really need to be epoxied, solvent welded or gooped.

Anyway, I thought it was a good time. The dart ban proved to be effective, but I'm sure the thicker clothes everyone was wearing made it a lot better too.

+Using the douche gun like all day.
+After a while, getting targeted out often because I was using the douche gun.
+No painful shots, on me, at least. Did anyone else have painful shots on them?
+Nothing broke.
+Clear PVC is win.

+The mini food fight at Taco Bell.
+Doing a lot of trash talking, especially with Beaver. "Hit! BITCH!"
+Chasing Paul and Beaver while they were running the flag only to hit Beaver right away on the fly, miss Paul several times, and eventually just sprint up and tap him (apparently he didn't know I was behind him).
+The Wayne Tech Tri Fire Blaster is such an amusing gun. Screw all you haters.
+The Nerfbro that actually does shit.
+Kip said his Marvelous Salvo worked but it didn't have barrels, but it really didn't work.
+Erik talking about his post-SPANO experience.
+Julian's reaction when he tried out the WTTFB was one of the greatest things I have ever seen.
+Actually shocking Paul when he saw the super shitty paint on the shells I gave him to paint for me.
