That sounds like a good idea. I just ordered 1000 washers and felt pads in anticipation of this. But yeah, would allow 1bb darts as well, since a lot of people don't have access to felt disc.

And Max will have no excuse not to attend!

Since we are making a switch to slug darts, Would you mind making me a template for cutting blanks? My current one gets them really weird, and I want to actually be able to make good darts. My miter box cuts crooked

$10 for McMaster from this guy. I’d like to see a graph of sales for washers and felt pads since Mc#’s scientastic post.

-Blasters shoot darts that tag people

I do not play with guns.

I think you overestimate our influence on Mcmaster-carr's business.

So the whopping $50 sales-spike just reported means nothing?!?!?!

I think I forgot to use brain on that one…

I would be more interested in the graphs for [k26] springs in relation to Polycarbonate sales since the +bow. That would make a pretty interesting econ paper.

Okay, back to location. Highland park? My reasoning is that both of the last two wars were at Newell (including the mini war Beaver had), and I haven't Nerfed there yet. I don't know how good or bad it is, either. My vote is highland. Whaddaya say?

Cause highland sucks. If we want a change of location, why not play at Langford or Riverside instead?

EDIT: I give Highland more shit than it deserves. Actually, I wouldn't mind playing in the little park area directly across the bridge from highland. That place is tight.

Your call, venom.

I say we play somewhere where there is a grill or firepit thing so that we could have a fire...

Newell has an actual firepit. Both have grills. I'm leaning towards Newell just because of convenience. I mean, it's super close to Beaver, Julian, Paul, Koree, Leif, and Max. Highland is close to......Kip. Highland is closER to me, but honestly, where I live, it doesn't make hardly any difference where it is if it's going to be in St. Paul either way. That's pretty much the same with anyone else who lives outside the Cities themselves. I am sort of thinking about Langsford too (beacuse there are usually less people), but it's a near gurantee that it will be cold enough to keep most people away from the park.

Your choice. If highland sucks, I'll take your word for it. I'll nerf anywhere.

I have played tons of wars at Highland. Its good, if you have enough people. x>10 and its fun. x<10, it sucks.

Actually, if it was in Langford, Leif would probably come. I haven't heard form him otherwise...

On topic: wherever is fine, I’m coming from Mound so it is either an hour or an hour 10 minutes.

New subject: Any else think it would be fun to use alternative ammo (missiles, shells, arrows, rockets) for different point values in DTC? Seems like a right step in the ‘make-nerf-fun-again’ direction.

I don't care I like them both a ton... I was wondering if anyone would let me mouch darts off of them? I have ZERO stefans and have no time or materials to make some.

I'll have the communal bucket and I'm sure that there will be enough darts for us all, I'm pretty indifferent about location except that I can also walk to Langford.

You guys can also use as many of my quality, handmade, professional grade stefans as you need. :P

Yes! Probably not at this war, but some other time.

I might be there for the afternoon segment otherwise, no. Dang parents. I'm seriously mad about this.

Actually, I might be there earlier than I though, just a little late... I'll see what I can rig up... and I'll bring my amazing stefans!
