I honestly didn't know which section this should go in, but I had a gut feeling that General Nerf would be best. (I did use the search function for this, but no results).
ON TOPIC:
I'm planning on attending my first war, and if I do get to go, I would take the train to get there. I have bright colored guns (stock colors) and will be bringing them in a colorful duffle bag. Will my bag get inspected by the conductor? Will the conductor tell me to get off the train because I'm bringing nerf guns? Will I be able to board the train scot free? Are nerf guns okay to take on trains?
If anyone could answer some of these questions for me that would be great. Thanks!

Because they are clearly toy guns, you shouldn't have a problem. Just guarantee they don't look real.

I would say calling the station and asking is your safest bet, otherwise just go and try not to act like you are doing something wrong/malicious or someone who’s job it is to catch creeps will smell it a mile away.

Well I can tell you the worst thing to do, think about it, cause then you seem like you're doing something wrong. Then you'll just look like a freak and draw attention to yourself. Just find something to keep yourself busy and go on with your day.

Have you ever set foot out of your house? If you're so scared about searches, just bring a backpack and a sleeping bag on board. Then you have a nice mat to lay on during the war.
Doing this as I speak. I have no idea when I got it...my DAD got it some 15 years ago, but that doesn't matter. Anyways, it keeps jerking around all over the place. I try to hold it with a rag...It doesn't look like...much.

Edit: I'm searching alot but to no avail can I find anything on the metra site that says anything about toy guns. Anyone mind helping me out on this one? I just want to see if Metra even recognizes people with toy guns.
