Info: Join us for our 1st anniversary of Nerfing in Orange County, CA.

Date: Sunday, November 8th, 2009

Time: 12:00pm - 5:00pm

Location: Huntington Central Park by the library

What to bring:

* Eye protection -- all participants must wear eye protection!
* Nerf blaster
* Something edible and preferably tasty

Extra eye protection, weapons, and food are available on a first-come, first-served basis, but it is best to bring your own.

I'm gonna be out there this whole next week anyways. I think I will pack up the 2k's and get out there for this. Flying in from Ohio tomorrow morning . . .

My Mashoonga have long since died, but I can has Marauder, will that do?

If not, I'll just have to try to revive the OCTAGON blow-sword (Mashoonga length pool noodle on pvc)

I was looking at Huntington Beach Central Park on the Huntington Beach Website, and I was wondering if you have a backup location? They have some very specific park rules about us not doing what we're planning to do.

Let me quote:

"The playing or participation in any hazardous game or activity is prohibited."

"Such activities include, but are not limited to... combat games... possession of any firearm, air gun..."

Hopefully you've played here before and know what's up with the Rangers, or if they'll let us play.

So I'm out here in Cali and planning to show up to this war. Is it still at the above listed location? Same time, etc? Just need to make sure. . .

We played there two weeks ago without incident, but thanks for the heads up. Hopefully nerf isn't considered hazardous.

Good meeting you guys today! Thanks for being so welcoming to the non-Californian. Good to see a mix of new and old nerfers alike. I definitely gave the 2k's a workout. I'll be sure to check you guys out next time. . .
