I don't know if it's just my Titan but the barrel does not want to come off despite my best physical efforts to twist it off both ways. I've seen posts that just have the barrel off and they say "Just twist it." I have decided NOT to cut the barrel off because I need the original barrel for support of my breech system. Thanks in advance.

You twist it to the left (counter clockwise) and if you can't get it, go to your father/mother/brother/sister/neighbor/some bum and have them do it, it's not that difficult.

Actually it's not that easy, I'm not saying this as some wimpy little 15 year old. I'm actually quite strong and I cannot get this barrel off for the life of me. It sticks when I twist to the left and when I twist clockwise it quickly gets hard for me to twist but it doesn't stop right away like it does counter-clockwise.

There are these 4 locking tabs that secure the barrel in... you will notice them if you have a new titan, and you can just take 5 seconds to rip them off with pliers with no damage to the gun I know of before you screw the barrel on, and then you can make the barrel removable. Just twist harder, you might hear cracking or snapping, but you should be good.

SorrowX: Rofl. I knew this might come up at some point. Thanks.

Blue: I didn't have a chance at breaking those tabs off for a new one, seeing as how it was at Goodwill for $3. I'll just keep trying but this seems a bit harder than you guys might anticipate. I really am trying because I want this friggin' thing off NOW!

Actually, it is that easy, you're unscrewing a children's toy, grab it and twist. Seriously, take it to someone bigger than you and have them twist it off if you can't get it.

I'm very adamant about the fact that this DOESN'T want to come off. I have seen those tabs from other modding pictures and I've been prying the bottom of the barrel to see them. I can see them but very faintly because it is hard to pry this thing. I'm getting to the point where I might actually cut it off because thing barrel just does NOT want to come off. I know your guys' Titans may have been easy to twist off, but believe me this one isn't so simple as a twist.

I have the green Titan and mine would come off easily every time. I've heard of people's sticking, but usually they yank it and it comes loose. What version do you have?

Color-wise I have the Red version. Either than that I couldn't tell you what version of Red it is. Know that I mentioned I got this from Goodwill.

Maybe, if you happend to put it in some boiling water, and then twisted it as hard as you could you might be able to rip it off, since the boiling water might weaken the tabs thus being able to snap off easily.

I don't want to have to deal with the mess of boiling water in my dorms here so that's a no but thanks for the suggestion. I still have no clue as to how I'm gonna rip this thing off. I might end up prying it off or using my dremel to cut the dang thing off. This barrel is really getting on my nerves. I'm psyched for my breech system; however, seeing as how I can't get the barrel off, it's going to have to wait a while.

Guess who's retarded? THIS GUY! A friend came in and offered to hold and twist one part while I twisted the other and guess what? VIOLA! The barrel is off. It was a simple twist but it took two moderately strong guys to get it twisted off. Thanks to all for the suggestions though. I was just frustrated with the thing so I chose not to listen to you guys. My sincere apologies. Thanks again. Case closed.
