Well if your just looking for one spring to put in the gun then go with the #49 spring then. But if you are just looking for poweri suggest putting the original spring, and getting some springs from OSH that are the same size as a strikefire, and a maverick spring...i did all that and my couplered nf gets about 70 feet.

Frankly, if you're looking for the best, I wouldn't settle for less than an industrial spring with 18kt gold plating and diamonds, but thats only if you want the best.

If you do decide to use an ace 49 spring I suggest you do a LOT of reinforcing on your NF I tried to use it once but around the 20th time I shot it my entire barrel assembly got blow out of the plunger tube from the force of the spring. Also note that I was using a cut 49 spring where as some people use whole ones for their NF.

My NF that has like a 35 pound load (result of a shit load of bands and a 20-pound load compression spring) is holding up with a bulbous o-ring for plunger padding and hot gluing the PT in. I definitely wouldn't say you need a TON of reinforcements. You'd be good with just pretty much filling the empty shell around the PT with hotglue.

WTF good is this thread for the next guy if you go and delete the topic name AND the context of your original post? That’s great YOU got your answer but what about someone else who has the same question. Maybe this would be useful to them. Now they can't even search and find this cause you deleted all the relevant search criteria.

If I remember right, it was a question about BBB replacement springs. Though I may be mistaken. Probably am.

Either way, I took the initiative to send the guy a PM asking him to put the question back in, and explaining to him why you don't get rid of the question once it's been answered (it's common netiquette). No need to get on his case in-thread when the issue can be resolved with a PM.
