I recently modded an RFDG to look like the terrible shotgun from fallout. Only problem is, I can't get it to close, or when I do, the turret doesn't rotate. I've successfully closed RZB's on the first try, so I don't think it's a "getting things aligned" problem. Any help would be appreciated.

5. Protip: sarcasm is good for making someone else look like more of an idiot than they already do. However, if you are an idiot to start with, using sarcasm just makes you look like a COLOSSAL idiot.

Don't they already look like that? You don't really need to change much for it to look like the combat shotgun, except for maybe like a bolt or something.

Make sure the spring rest (that hard rubber thing on the plunger rod) is positioned correctly. I had issues with that when I tried to put the blaster back together at 5 AM when I finished it. It's an easy thing to overlook.

Yeah, this is a possibility, I had some struggles with that piece on mine. Also, the plunger tube has a ridge on one side, make sure that lines up in the correct slot.
Also, check to make sure things are lining up with the turret itself. I remember when I was trying to put mine together, my turret lip was interfering with the turret and it's rotation because I had something misaligned. (I can't remember exactly what it was, but check your turret lip).
Pics would help a lot if you can get a working camera.

I found my mom's camera, but I won't be able to take pics until tomorrow, I'm going to my friend's house tonight.
