I use [k26] and [k25] springs for my projects. The come in 1ft sections, so you can cut them down to the lengths you need. I use a [k26] spring in my longshot, with good results. The [k26] is slightly weaker than the ACE #49, and the [k25] is similar in strength and width to the Big Bad Bow spring.

You put a [k26] in a Longshot? I tryed and it Effeminately failed, how long was it?ACE #49s work well, although I find them a bit over-powered in some applications.
