Washers:

FBR:

I know they are the right materials but I want to make sure the washers will be the same size as FBR so they are perfectly lined up.
They are very cheap as is, but my mom works there so I am getting them dirt cheap.
Please help me out. Thank you!

Hey all, Goombadude3 here. I am wanting to make Stefans for the very first time but I am unsure what size of FBR and washers to buy. I have links below to both the FBR and washers:

I use #8 washers, but thats from home depot, so I don`t know if they are the same at lowes, but you should be able to bring the FBR bag over to the washers and line them up to find the best size.

Please put some sort of cloth over your washers (see Captain Slug darts), as the washers alone will leave very nasty welts.

Oh trust I would not just leave the washers un-covered. I want to put a dome of hot glue over them, do you think that will help the impact?

Most of the time washer and hot glue darts are frowned apon. I know for a fact that lowes has 3/8 inch felt pads. Try using them insted of the glue.
Felt pads eh?????? I wonder why i never thought of that, it would save me time and glue. Is 3/8 the size of the FBR i provided. Let me check my link

So yeah since that one person said washers and hot glue was extremely erotic(sorry I forgot your name).I just simply typed 3/8 FBR and boom, there it is for $2.30.
Now that i know the felt pads will match with the FBR I have 2 more questions.
1.How many felt pads come in one package?
2.Will 3/8 Stefans fit in my Recon CS-6 Clip?

You don't want 3/8" FBR. The usuall size for micro stephans is 1/2" FBR. Now to answer your questions, The amount of felt pads in a pack will say on the box/bag(it is usually 250 or 500 packs that i buy) and 3/8" will not work in your recon 1/2" will though.
Ok so 1/2 FBR. I found that lowes has that too. Because my recon is my prized gun and I want my stefans to work.
