Okay so I've been trying to find glue that's good for making darts, meaning high-temp glue. At lows I found two types-- hot melt glue and all purpose clear. I got the hot melt because it didn't have dual-temp on it. is this the right glue? If you need me to I can take a pic of the package.

Isn't the idea to use a low temperature hot glue gun? I usually use regular all purpose clear glue sticks in a low-temp glue gun, and that prevents the foam from melting excessively. Or were you looking for a different effect?

My glue gun is high-temp, and the dart heads kept falling off when I used dual temp glue.

Are these CS darts that we're discussing? If so, having the heads break off is pretty normal. Happens to me all the time. They're no where near as durable as traditional stefans.

That's a serious problem then. Pics of the darts and your glue?

Darts are just regular stefs. I started having this problem when I switched to a new hot glue.

This was the bad glue.

For now, the best I can do on the new glue is it's Arrow Hot melt glue: SuperPower Slow Setting, it comes in a little plastic box and the lettering is green. This is just to see if anyone is familiar with it. According to the package, it's high strength and good for wood, plastic, leather, and other stuff.

EDIT: Bob, the thing is I'm not sure if this is good glue.
