It looks like we are having a LOT of extra tag alongs (not the Girl Scout cookies) at this war. If anyone has extra blasters that can be used as loaners, please bring them.

Getting my guns ready. Big thanks to OMC for getting PETG to me snappy like usual, because I think I should've transfered my air guns to PETG back at Apoc. Better late then never eh? Barreling my SM1.5k with PETG and converted a Lt. Stefan CPVC breech to PETG for my singled AT2k. Standard CPVC coupler on the Handcannon that has seal improvements + Recon spring.
Not shown, my +Bow and about 150+ darts, with about 150+ more darts to make for both me and my companion.
I am anticipating this event greatly.

Oh, and ballisticjoe, I can bring your blasters down with me, that would save us both time and money.

And the war rages on. While the forecast still says cloudy on Saturday, we're supposed to have rain up until 9am, which means the field is going to be a mud pit regardless. I've been glued to the Weather Channel for the past day and this storm front is apparently lingering like a turd that just won't flush.I will be making a decision on Thursday regarding weather and cancellation, but for right now we have a minor victory in the mother nature department
While everyone knows I am privy to the idea of Nerfing regardless of weather conditions, three consecutive days and nights of rain will make for pretty shitty field conditions. Furthermore, I have to worry about those of you that are traveling.
I will be making a final decision about cancellation in a few hours, stay tuned.

Now, this war could still happen and be a lot of fun, but I think what Groove is trying to get accross here is that traveling from 5 or so hours off is a risky endeavor considering the quationable field conditions.

More or less....I think what Groove is trying to get across here is that traveling from 5 or so hours off is a risky endeavor considering the questionable field conditions.
The field is going to be a swamp. The Labyrinth itself is positioned on a slope, and what water / debris isn't running down the entire field (and through the portables) will be turning the rest of the field there into a river bed. That also means the concrete areas will be slick and dangerous as well.
Chops, I'm going to say this in layman's terms so there's no miscommunication. The field is going to be shit and while I am all for having fun my concern as the host is the safety of everyone there. You have to take into account the people traveling; the roads aren't going to be very friendly, either. Especially if you're traveling from anywhere south of DC. I mean, for fuck's sake, my county has just declared a state of emergency. The storm is being compared to the "Perfect Storm" on the Weather Channel. It's the remnants of a hurricane mixed with a low pressure system and it's being continuously fed so it's simply not moving. That means more rain.
THE WAR IS CANCELED.
SPREAD THE WORD.
SEE YOU ASSHATS IN THE SPRING.

Anybody want to get together and NERF either the 27th or 28th?
*squeals and jumps saying yes over and over*
Uhhh, of course! I prefer the 28th since my family might have plans for the 27th.
