Hey I was moding my longshot and I'm wondering if you need to re-inforce it if you put an Ace 49 in.
Thanks in advance.

Pad the plunger with some foam gasket and reinforce the bolt sled.

For boltsled reinforcement I would recomend doing this. My boltsled has survived for the last few months with the combination of a LS, BBB, and RFSG spring, with no signs of stress.

It's a distinct possibility. But seriously, that's all you could come up with? You are a terrible Troll.

You might need to add a catch spring.

You might need to add a catch spring.

I can't remember which of the two the 49 is.

If you put it in, and you can still prime it with one hand, no, it doesn't.

If it is the other, you won't be able to prime it with only one hand and still have it hit the catch plate.

So no on the first, yes on the second.

Whenever you increase the spring load of your blaster, you want a stronger catch spring to prevent misfires. It will take more force to hold the catch in place if more force is being applied to it from a different direction.
