I need some pointers on a comparison between a Fury Fire and a DTB? i.e. stock range, modding potential, reliability, etc. Buying both and testing them for myself is not an option since they both cost about 200 bucks local currency for a set of two. All I can tell on my own is that the Fury Fire is better because of its pump-action cocking, but the DTB has a better plunger (not inverse).

DTB- Better modded ranges because of the normal plunger, easy to mod
FuF- Nice pump action, comfy grip, and better aesthetics (In my opinion), pretty much a Maverick on steroids
I find the DTB more reliable because of how it's built.

From modding both I can say that while neither is primary worthy by itself, either blaster is a decent secondary. While the DTG outranges the FuryFire when modded, the FuryFire is far more comfortable and quick to prime. I have used my modded FuryFire in several Zombie rounds at a few wars, and it has proved both capable and reliable. The FuryFire also has a TON of integration potential, easily accepting several types of air gun tanks.---Rogue.

To add another reason why the DTB might be superior for your needs, They are now available (at least in some locations) in a single "Hyperfire" pack.
Overall, depending on what you want, you're still probably better off getting the set of two--the current set comes with two Hyperfires, two Reflex/Eliminator-alikes, two vests (which make great wall-mounted targets if you pin them up) and two pairs of safety glasses for $40. The individual pack (at least where I've seen them) only gives you one each Hyperfire, vest, and glasses and costs $25. If all else fails, find someone nearby who's interested, each pitch in $20, and split a set. That's what I did.
