I don't post my mods on here much since I have my Blog to keep up with but decided to post this one. Its kinda awkward to use but really not too different from using a Longshot with the front gun attached. My goal was to have a gun that could use 2 drum clips and would give you 70 shots without reloading. I am still working out some things with the Longshot clip system but for the most part its working. I needed to keep the clip but wanted to barrel it since I added a BBB spring and I cant seem to find brass(too impatient to order some) so I used cpvc and a coupler with a foot long barrel. I had to extend the pull back of the cocking mechanism so the cpvc could clear scooping up a dart. It will probably jam frequently but oh well. The few test shots I made was hitting 90+ feet. The Raider has the normal Recon mods done to it. I just added a rod to connect the raider priming handle to the Longshots so one handle will prime both guns, this will make it a little more user friendly. It still needs more work but this is it so far. A Video of me testing it.

Is this gun awkward to hold? Maybe it is just the pictures, but it appears that the guns is really long and would therefore make it hard to prime the Raider since the handle is all the way in the front.

WHAT HAS SCIENCE DONE??!!

Jokes aside, I suppose this is taking indoor weaponry to a new dimension. Personally I'd just like using a raider with a LS flip clip, but I guess if you want 70 shots, fuck, you got'em.

yeah I'm that guy who made that cool thing with the cool paint.

My god, man!
First a Recon into a Longshot, now Raider?!
I feel sorry for the poor sap who has to get shot by that thing.

It's the same length as a Longshot with the front gun attached. It is a little too long to be considered practical but I'm 6'2" and have long arms so it works for me.

Wonderful vision. This would be disgusting to come up against in capable hands.

The main question I have is does the raider still slam fire? I realize that 70 shots is nothing to be messed with, but I <3 gimmicks in blasters.

I can unlink the priming handles so the Raider can still do slam fire. I had a vision and tried to make it work, in the end its a little awkward but it works. To tell you the truth I'm not that impressed with it so I'm not sure what I'll do with it.

I loled at that.

Dear god....

TIS A SEXY BEASTY!!!!

I wants. I think though that it is probably awkward for slamfire. If you shrink the stock, is it more comfortable?

This strikes me as the proof for a thesis about the inverse proportion between a nerf gun's intimidating appearance and it's usefulness.

That's, well.... Interesting. I like the concept, but I believe it would be cleaner/lighter to slap that drum mag on your LS/recon and call it a day.
I can see it being practical, but I find that the drum mag off to the side really throws off the balance: It pointing down, like on a recon, would maybe help balance it a bit.
Is it really front heavy? Props for the idea though.

But isn't the longshot singled on the longshot/recon? Granted, who needs more than thirty-six shots, but I think the whole point of this integration is excess.
I could see it being used effectively, especially if the longshot gets a consistent 90 ft, but I certainly wouldn't want to pick up all the darts that this thing would inevitably spew out.

Does the longshot have a tendency to jam with the cpvc breach?
From the second video it seems like you can now pull off a slow-ish slam fire by holding the longshot trigger and pushing the bolt back and forth. Is this the case?

War practical or not, this is a hell of thing to pull off. Every time I check your blog I'm amazed at how prolifically you tend to churn these things out.

It looks to me more like it's a de-singled LS.

The OP mentions having a total of 70 shots before reloading, so I'd assume...
