OK So the last WA war went off great. Crossroads turned out to be a great venue. (aside from a couple hickups)

As I mentioned at the war I planned on hosting another. So here it is...

September 20th

I'm thinking 11 am.

Crossroads park

16000 NE 10th St

Bellevue, WA 98008

We will be using the area near the parking area that is at the end of

NE 15th St.

This is a little hard to find. It is actually BEHIND the TOP Foods that is in the far NE corner of Crossroads Mall/Shopping center.

This time I'm ONLY giving the directions to the EXACT parking lot rather then to the park itself. Cause Google will put you on the other end of the park if you use the directions google gives.

Now it is time to lay down some law about this venue. There were a couple issues last time and we need to address these before we show up.

1st. The War area is very close to the border of the golf course. Being as most golfers are pretentious dicks they tend to get uppity about us playing around them. So we need to be careful not to venture too far in that direction and to be mindful that theres a bunch of little bitch golfers over there that will whine if they think you're shooting in their direction. They simply don't understand that they are probably WAY out of range and have nothing to worry about but they are little bitches so they will bitch. Leave them alone. If they get uppity and bent, let me deal with it.

2nd. There are a few retirement communities in the area. So as such there are old people that will walk around and even sit and watch our gaming. That is fine. But I need you all to be VERY aware of your surroundings and do not inadvertently bring them into our game.

This did happen at one point and the poor old lady damn near had a heart attack. The fucked up thing is the guys that created the situation didn't hesitate for a second to go ahead and play around her and put her directly in the crossfire. BIG NO NO. This is not a tournament. If we have to pause for a sec or redirect ourselves to keep to our own area, even if it means maybe getting shot because you had to double back. So be it. Were here to have fun. not to piss off the natives. I don't mind telling golfers to fuck off but I don't want grandma calling the cops because she got her frail ass shot by a BBBB from 15' away.

At the war I will impose borders. Exit the play area and it is considered suicide.

A birthday war? Just for me? Really, you shouldn't have!
As much as I want to come, it looks slim for me showing up due to a combo of work schedule and festivities.

I'm a maybe for now. It mostly depends on how lenient my X-Country coach will be and if I can get a ride. I'll most likely be there, as I'm gonna try as hard as I can to make this happen.

Something just came up, reducing my chances of going to somewhere around zero. I'll go with one or two percent. You never know what could happen.

Sundays in general would be much better for me. We have occasional invitational meets on Saturdays, and one just so happens to be on the 19th I recently realized. I could probably weasel my way out of it if I have to, but the Sunday of that weekend would be great.

I'll speak for myself, thank you. I'm undecided at this time. It has less to do with the 19th and more to do with September, but you never know.

If were doing this on a Sunday then the 27th is out. My Grandpas Birthday is on that day. Maybe the fourth of October? Its the first Sunday of the month.

I couldn't care less whether it's on a Saturday or Sunday. Saturdays might be a little easier on people, but not me personally. Though, I'm not even sure if I'll be able to make this one.
I'm busy the 19th/20th and 26th/27th of this month, and the 10th/11th of October. That leaves just October 3rd/4th for me, unless you want to reschedule beyond the 10th/11th. But at that point you might as well just have this war and host another around then.

I think deciding on a date sooner than later would probably be a good idea to increase everyone's chances of attendance. I'm in for the 20th, but it sounds like some people would rather have it later. Like Jake said, we should just have one now and then do another later when schedules clear up.

The 20th it is. If that doesn't work for anyone. Sorry. Should have spoken up.

The 20th is like a Tuesday. We're looking at the 16th/17th.
Are we going for a Saturday or Sunday?

I guess you have some heavy duty industrial strength toilet paper holders. Do they advise you to wear eye protection when changing rolls?
