OH NO!

I really want to go because that's not too far away from where I live, but I'll still be in school then. I have one more week left in this term too. Sucks for me :(

If at first you don't succeed, add more epoxy.

I'm a definite unless my house blows up. I also might be leaving a bit early.

It's raining, and it's assumed that it will continue through tomorrow, will we be playing inside?

I think it is going to stop about the time the war starts though, judging from the hour by hour forecast. I would like to play outside, but just don't cancel it.

You can just use stock darts.

I don't have any darts at all. And stock darts suck.

I see, also stock darts actually don't suck in CQB.

Eh, well does anyone have streamlines they'd sell? I'm pretty desperate, having no ammo and everything. My cousin was supposed to give me his, but I haven't seen him in a few months.

I bought a large amount of darts to sell at the game.

We will decide tomarrow if we will be inside or outside but we have both fields reserved for the event and there will be signs and people to direct you to where you need to go.

I'm glad everyone had fun! I was especially pumped that Hasbro/Nerf Designers came down to say hi and giveaway prizes! :D

Best. Time. Evar.

Lots of fun. Plenty of battle wounds.

So, just incase it doesn't get mentioned, a couple designers from hasbro showed up, watched us play, answered some of our questions, then donated quite a few blasters. Most of which (the ones shown) were raffled off to participants of this event.

I had a great time as well. Pretty much everything went down smootly, and the cardboard battle field was something new, but very fun. Look forward to seeing all of you sometime in the future.

Ha, looks like I left the event a bit too early, I missed the Hasbro reps. Did they make any comments on modifying the blasters or future releases that we can look forward to?

They only said that 9 to 11 blasters are in store for '10

Wow 9 blasters seems like a lot compared to recent years. Guess we'll have to wait to see what's coming out.

They did say that they create a lot of designs in a year, and marketing only permits a few through. They mentioned the "peg board," which is where Hasbro designers store their prototype gun designs until the marketing team chooses to pick them up.

It's kind of a shame that the designers are limited by the marketing team, but I guess that makes sense.

Yeah this is what I sorta assumed, since that's the case with a lot these kinds of companies. They can't release a product unless they think that they can sell it. Honestly they could just release a picture of a product and list some features and that would satisfy most of us. Thanks for the info guys.
