My thoughts exactly. Like, EXACTLY. I'm gonna take this war's falling on my birthday as a sign from ye olde goddes of nerf to get my happy ass down there. I'll most likely be accompanied by some or all of my crazy crew, so be ready. Also, I'll be bringing even more Rork-style death cannons! Huzzah! You SOFA vets know what I'm talking about...

Recap time. Some highlights for me:

Rocking. Winning FFA. Getting unholy numbers of kills. Shooting a bunch of people, at a distance, while they were at a full run. I feel like I've leveled up...

My crew did really well, and it's always nice to see newbies getting their nerf on, as well as meeting some people I hadn't nerfed with previously, and seeing some that I had.

Ben's crazed nerf antics.

Nerfing and talking with people.

All in all, this war fulfilled my need for a DCNO practice run and then some.
Having great guns was nice, and I was able to loan out some equipment.

Keisha and Pheylan rocking the RSCB'd 4B.

One serious lowlight: Zaxbys failed to appear, and while it was unavoidable, it was also a great disappointment. You were missed, dude.

Highlights:

-Using my new Scorpion Bow for the entire day. I love that thing, though the 2k now has a small leak
-Said SB not breaking!
-Losing my NF, my dad finding it for me, then realizing I don't need to use it except in pistol rounds
-Playing plenty of rounds and actually getting some hits
-It didn't rain!
-Ben, his big blast, and his running
-Meeting zipx and fang
-Both of my guests playing extremely well for their first war, and they will be nerfing again
-Yeah, what rork said. I have no idea how he got so many kills
-Fang holding his own with just a singled longshot
-Zipx dual-wielding a raider and a Big Blast
-Zipx rushing people with the raider. I hate that thing
-Umpshaplapa bringing a variety of guns that several people used throughout the day. And his pretty darts
-Walking away with most of my darts found
-Talking with people in between rounds
-Crossbow guy. Whoever that was, he had amazing accuracy
-The terrain was interesting: Very hilly, but a little open.
-A pretty nice turnout for the first war in Atlanta

It was a pretty fun war.

The only bad thing is that Zaxbys couldn't make it.

The video camera I had taped to my gun sorta failed, but my dad has high quality pictures and footage from the war.

Pros:
Said crossbow guy picking up a nerf gun for the first time ever and kicking ass with it.
Quill using my singled 3k and somehow kicking ass with it.
It never rained
A minimal amount of people with dogs
good turnout
Crossbow guy randomly showing up in the middle of the war, wanting to play.

Cons:
Rork's bigblasts
dogs
half my guns breaking, and losing a ton of my pretty darts

I learned that airsoft must translate into nerf skillz somehow.

Just so everyone knows, I have since upgraded my BBBB/MM so that it's more consistent, reliable, and faster. And it now uses 2 full-length turnarounds on the main barrels. Hehehehe.
