Are you serious? All vulcans darts whiz out of control even with the barrel. It's semi accurate with stefans though. I'll probably put up a short firing vid tonight to show you how the spaces line up. The AS turret will not be used in the final product, it was just a good size around to make the scratch template from.

Anyway, back to the mod. I can see alot of potential in rotating barrels. Pretty soon well be seeing tommy 20 barrels on minimized vulcans.

You have given me multiple reasons to think that your are completely retarded. The only thing this mod does is add a cosmetic style. It's very counter-productive in any war situation.

Hell yeah. I am expanding the chain to 50 though, cause I'm making a larger ammo box. This mod is just to make it look cool while it fires.

And you're also wrong about the stock darts on here. Whistler-tip Micros have always been very accurate for me.

But I like what you're doing with the cosmetics; I think it'll look pretty legit when it gets cleaned up.

It's SGM, and, yes, I did this long ago (almost a year ago, I think). No harm done in you posting this though. I never posted mine in a topic. I have just mentioned it and pm'd it to a few people. I was working on some crazy ideas, but it got back-burnered, so I never finished it other than the barrels and some internal mods.

Thats a joke. Onto the mod nice work as usual but do you think that the weak vulcan rotational mech will be able to hold the extra weight once you have the barrels put on? Those things are weak as hell and it'd be a shame to see another vulcan go down the toilet because of broken internals.

I'm saving up to complete this mod, I already removed the old barrel and relocated the handle, but what is the size of the round barrel plates you use?

looks great btw, and am with Bedhed117: aren't you going to support the barrels somehow, I know I will, using some (steel) bearings from a RC car....

Looks like the rotating mechanism can take the extra weight of additional barrels.

You're right... seems he left the bottom section of the original front barrel intact. That section could be a part that helps support the rotating assembly of 6 barrels.

The barrels are going to be supported at the end of the handle, by some steel ball bearings

Looks sexy, but mine SHOULD be done by the end of the day. I am also using supporters for the barrels. More when it's finished.

EDIT: Barrel Material. 2 3-foot measurements of 1 inch petg from petsmart. Will be cut into 6 1-foot measurements for the turret.

It's a wire I cut from a Realtor sign that keeps the turret up and relieves stress from the rotation mech. And hell yeah, it will be painted. I did punch out the AR's, and the next thing on the to do list is hook it up to a RC battery.

Seeing this thread has given me a new idea for mine. I never made a barrel support. I don't think it needs it, but it could look pretty cool. I like that you found that big PETG. Seems like it'd be nice and light.
