The new core should be ready. I'll bring it.

Edit: Oh, and of course powerball.

Did you ever fix the problem of the paint flaking off the balls?

Update: Myself and several others are working on organizing a possible indoor war (in a GYM, full basketball court sized with a upper level jogging area), that would happen the evening after this war. Anyone interested? I want to test out this location, because, it's a good idea to have an indoor location already figured out before Winter. I know we have the Civil Engineering building, but it has more risks, and there might be a lot more people there in the school year, and thus they will get in our way. In this gym, we will have it to ourselves.

Are there things to use as obstacles there, or would we need to make pvc-cloth ones ourselves?

And it is looking like I will be bringing one maybe two other people with me for the 19th day war!

That would be pretty sweet Zach. I'm assuming stock ammo and slug darts only? I don't want to get blasted constantly by +bows from 50' away.

Chris and I are down. We'll nerf all day and all night.

FUCK YEAH! I've always wanted to celebrate that day, but I always seem to forget or not be in a good place. I was actually thinking about getting one of those foam pirate hats from the dollar store, I will now.

Ryan: Koree was talking about using regular stefans, but I REALLY don't think it's a good idea. I'd like to just go 100% stock darts for simplicity, but we may allow certain types of stefans (like slug darts), with more blaster restrictions than usual.

I don't really think restricting blasters would even matter. I assume people would favor high rate of fire blasters as opposed to using a single shot, long range blaster. It just doesn't make sense to use a +bow in a gym with 15-20 people.

Traditional stefans would be dangerous. We would probably fuck up shit in the gym, not to mention each other. Stock darts are fine by me if we have enough to go around. I would probably prefer stock darts.

Exactly. Paul has like 700 stock darts. If that isn't enough, we could always have everyone bring a pack or something to donate.

Other news: I discovered my employee discount at Ace is quite a bit more than I thought. I got a roll of 1/2" FBR that would've costed around $6.50 for $2, and a foot of 17/32 Brass for about $2. I might be able to get some items for people if requested. Not too much though, because I don't think I'm really supposed to be doing this XD.

This is true. Once you figure out that a Maverick is more effective than a +bow indoors, blaster restrictions become irrelevant.

Oi, Zach, no mentioning my wars without me having said anything.

The event at Hamline is not confirmed yet. And we wouldn't be able to use the jogging area anyways, that was a joke zach.

IF this happens at Hamline that night, we need to make some PVC/tarp barriers and possibly slug darts or possibly beaver darts. (it's not a small area... think massacre style) Also, this event will be advertised on campus so i need a ton of extra primaries. (we counted 8 between me and zach, if this goes down, i'm sure some of you will be able to bring an extra or two right?) either way, that part of the war is still in the very early planning phase.

I'd take 6in of brass. Or just a whole foot if that's the sections it's being sold in. Whichever is easier.

I just put major time in on three different projects and I have to say any time someone wants to plan a war 6 weeks ahead that is just fine by me.

Ven, mad props on scheduling a war to give the working man enough notice to clear the schedule/actually mod in preparation.

The Difference:
-Guns shoot bullets that kill people
-Blasters shoot darts that tag people

I do not play with guns.

Haha, that's good to hear. I am now a working man too, but my schedule is not very strict, nor do I have many hours.

I have now acquired 7 5'x7' tarps for the purpose of making obstacles at the indoor war, which WILL happen. Whether or not we have it on the 19th, is still being decided.

I think we should have the indoor war sometime during the winter. We should nerf outside while we still can without freezing our extremeties.

Working man? Ha ha!
We're still unsure about anything, we're trying to get somewhere. My TTGs (Gemini), five foot Big Blast (hold it at five feet and it looks great), and whatever else we prep are screaming for war usage. I may also get my SGSL ready so Paul can take and paint it...

Arrgh... parental paranoia has killed our chances again... whatever.
Found a great way to get good war names. The Video Game Name Generator! How does "Catholic Yoga Remix" sound? "Nighttime workout in my Pocket"? Yah. Fo' shiz. It generated those.

I think that the name generator could be better used to give names to new games to play at wars.

A few that I liked and thought would somehow make good games.. If we make up some decent ones.

Day of the Hobo Project
Communist Robot of Love
Supreme Vampire Dash
Mega Platypus Polo
Go Dog Go Unleashed

That and I might have to leave early.

Venom and I worked on some mobsticles today, and I'm happy with how they turned out. Koree, you and I should get together and build some soon.

We could use that generator just to build game types.

Kamikaze Railroad sounds like it could be good. Get a team of 8 people, all with shields and Nerf blasters. Their goal is to run to a certain area, or deliver a package. No slowing down, no stopping, but they only have 1 life. They need to get atleast one person to the designated area.

Elite Cowboy Blaster. Tag team pistols, but you can only fire when someone (who might run it) yells fire. Similar to a wild west duel.

M.C. Escher's Karate Shootout. Primaries, but you have to contort into a weird fashion while letting out a ki yell in order for a hit to count.

Japanese Terrorist Overload. Self Explanatory.

See?

WTH/WTA (Want To Have/Acquire): The toothed priming handle for an Eagle Eye, Sawtooth, or Sneak Shot.

If you have one lying in your junk pile I will gladly take it off your hands at the war. Or give you like $1 in change from my car if you REALLY fuss.
