Also, if the roll is old (as in a few years or more) you will have more problems.

The oozing is directly correlated to the quality of tape. Don't expect anything from tape that is less than $3 a roll, as a general rule.
Also, if the roll is old (as in a few years or more) you will have more problems.
Yeah that fits the bill of my tape. It was some cheapo ten pack and I found it deep in my garage somewhere.

It doesn't seem to, but I'll look into that... I use Teflon tape now anyways, it seems to work better.It depends what type of Gun, if its a spring gun I'm pretty sure it will, it is a form of adhesive and any sort of stickness on the o-rings in the plunger slows it down, which is bad for performance.
