I was thinking that we would hold the war on the nineteenth, but that means we all need to gather intrest and find a location A.S.A.P.

19th of what?

19th. of soon? I meant week after thanksgiving.

He's meaning to match it with Badwrench's thing: http://nerfhaven.com...showtopic=17554

As for location, this looks promising:

http://www.waco-texa...cameronpark.htm

400 acres of varying terrains. That sounds like a winner.

Cameron park looks good But it also looks HUGE.
And if you guys would read the original post you would see that I posted September 19th. :o
Everybody needs to take a look at darken's post and then reply what they think.
Also I think we would need to rent the part of the park we use(I was thinking camaron park East) Witch meens we would all have to put out like $20-$25, But i'm not sure and i'll look more into it. And see if we cant just show up and hold this thimg without the whole fee part.

Considering it's 400 acres and it says its great for picnics and whatnot, I would HIGHLY doubt you need to reserve anything. Generally you just have to be at a place with not too many people, and 400 acres doesn't fill up quickly.

You know, I've actually been to Cameron Park, and the Zoo named after it.

Nice place. Probably be a good idea.

There's this bridge there, somewhere, it's a suspension that crosses the river, and I think it'd make a good bridgewar location. Think Gephyrophobia (Means fear of bridges) from Halo CE.

It's been a good 5 years since I was there, but if we ask around, we'll find it.

Obviously we shouldn't use one of the water locations... but where should we go? Should we aim for a giant field or a playground?

More than likely the playgrounds will be packed, so I'd say when we get there to see what terrains there are and pick which one would be good for nerf. If we want to switch around it wouldn't be too hard.

And we can always pick a location and then if we get there and its packed we can just move.

On another note I think the bridge would be sweet for center flag push. ^_^

I might be getting a little ahead of myself here, but I think that we should allow doomsayers on two conditions:
1. Everybody else gets a handicap.
2. That person made the doomsayer. (Didn't buy it off of somebody else.)

Just a suggestion.

Oh yeah.

My memory's kinda fuzzy, but I'm fairly certain this is that bridge:

I know, whatever happens, we should bring our own deployable cover. Like mobstacles and what have you. I'm currently developing a wooden cover object that can be easily slammed into the ground, similar to Boomshields from Gears of War. Even more fun if we have a special round with them being man-carried.

Update on location

Camren park would be PERFECT. I know the perfect place there. The bridge is cool, we rented it for a party once, but its in the middle of downtown, so that wouldn't work...

Don't want to shove balls in tight spaces. Trust me, bad idea.

For sale: Vintage WWII French rifles. Dropped once, never fired.

Ryan- Could you weigh the balls for extra oomph? Maybe cut one ball open (like a slit) and spread it so you could get some weights in there?

His name is Outcast10000 (on the forums that I am on anyway). He is from nerfnerds.forumakers.com and so am I.

Thanks!

I have a Titan that has a single barrel. It shoots anywhere from 1-10 darts at once. Would I be allowed to use it as long as I shoot more than 1 dart at a time?
