I've been working on this for a while now. I wanted a fully functioning grenade launcher while still maintaining its ability to be used as a shotgun (or whatever else I wanted to attach). Not only that but I wanted it removable, I like options. Although I did make something similar to the stormbringer,
I was unhappy with how wide the titan'ss shell was, so I scrapped the shell, and made a sort of "grenade breech".
Here's how it works:
The projectile consist of two parts. The projectile is 1/2in pipe insulator with half a nerf/air zone ball on top and the shell is a 1 1/4in bushing with 1/2in CPVC nested in it.
Combined, they form the cartridge.
The launcher is opened to accept the cartridge. The sliding part is 1 1/2in sch. 40 PVC and the large piece thats on the titan is a 1 1/4in PVC coupler.
Load it
Close the launcher.
Pump it and pull the trigger. I made the trigger out of the bent rod thats in the titan. It had to be modified though. I use the LS mag as a handle for the launcher similar to the M203.
The projectile is ejected.
Open the launcher.
Remove the shell.
Then insert new cartridge.
The 1 1/2in PVC (the part that slides) is supported by 3/8 wooden dowel. the brass that you see is 1/2in. Also I have a tactical rail clip on it for additional support.
To keep the 1 1/2in PVC from sliding off the dowels, it put a glob of hot glue on the ends of the dowels.
In addition to the coupler, I also have a 3/4in threaded female adapter on the titan. So I can attach things such as shotties .
So if I ever want to attach something like a shotty, all I'd have to do is take off the 1 1/2in PVC by undoing the glue on the end of the dowels.
NOTE: I realize the the recon faux barrel decreases range, but I usually play CQB wars anyway.
As for range, I have yet to test. However I will once I get the chance.
Soon I plan to modify the thing to shoot cut down buzz bee missiles. I would post the link but can't seem to find it. It's where someone put a piece of CPVC in the black ring in the missile, the wrapped several darts around it with a rubber band. I'll find it later but its getting late.
Enjoy!

Not very practical for a war but still really cool how it works like a real grenade launcher. What are the ranges for it?

If thats only held on by a tach rail it will probably fall of when you're pulling the cartridge of the reload. Also since the projectile is placed of the plunger than the breech is completely pointless as are the silencing holes that you drilled in the breech wall. I do however like the way you made it so that it would accept shotty or long distance attachment. In short the breech is useless and that attachment isn't practical but the couple system is a great idea for other attachments. If you have time you should build a handle beneat the titan's "trigger."

I'd suggest you replace all the bonds you made with hotglue with goop. It will last much longer.

Bedhed- Its held on there with 2 tac rails and actually, it very stable. Yes, the breech is pointless, as a matter in fact, it doesn't even need the 1 1/2in piece. Its cosmetic. This whole design was a prototype. So the holes in the 1 1/2in piece was NOT on purpose. Its just what I had at hand.
Blue- I may replace the hot glue, however, the hot glue seems incredibly strong as is...
This grenade project was for looks- it works like an M203. You use the mag as the trigger and it has a "breech". However I now have 2 options for attachments- I can use the 3/4in female adapter or the 1 1/4in coupler. I will usually use other attachments with this. The launcher will only be used when I can use it with those shrapnel buzzbee missiles (still searching for that damn thread).
Thanks for the input.

Looks like an M203...but it also looks very flimsy.
(Usually I don't like others to do this but I'm going to do it anyway...)
N-203
(...that is the whole linking another post into someone else's thing...)
The above is the one I made. I'd listen to Blue if I were you. Switch out the hot glue for goop, or epoxy putty, or both. You can also drill a small hole in the tac rail and put a screw in there to hold the launcher on; that's what I did, and it works great. I do like the fact that you made it breech loading, and don't listen to bedhed, keep the barrel shroud; it looks awesome. A good attempt at a prototype.

Yes, goongala, I saw your N-203, Its actually what made me go ahead and finish it. It was a dead project for a while. But actually aside from the hot glue (I will replace the hot glue), this setup isn't flimsy at all. The two tac rail clips are slightly offset (I didn't do this on purpose) which seems to make it more sturdy. Like you said I'll problably add a thread rod or bolt through the tac rail.
My whole objective for project was to make a realistic nerf M203, while still being able to quickly change it to a Single or shotguned titan.
Thanks for the input!

F-all y’all: hella props for “real” function. Yeah, I said it.
I’m not saying paint it black and run around in the dark, but the fact that it “works” like the “real” thing is just sweet. Especially if you have a bandoleer of “shells” to cycle through.

The Difference:
-Guns shoot bullets that kill people
-Blasters shoot darts that tag people
I do not play with guns.

It looks like it'll work nicely. But it would be better if you gave it a paintjob. PLEASE GIVE IT A PAINTJOB!!!
Someday, everything you own right now will be sold or destroyed when you die. So let's be happy!
