[Kid Flash]

So I just acquired yet another Nerf Arrowstorm and noticed that this one is different. It does not have the grooves in the barrels and it has holes in the side of the gun... Is there anything special about this gun compared to the other type?

I don't know for sure but I have an arrowstorm with the cut out notches.

I believe that the one with the grooves cut out is a first gen. and being such, does not have grooves in the barrels. Megas can be used easily with it. The second gen. has grooves in the barrels, so megas can't be used too well, and it is a bit harder to rebarrel. This came up in that difference between generations thread about two months ago (? it was awhile ago).. try searching for that, beaver said stuff about it there.

Arrowstorms went out of production a LONG time ago. You don't buy a "new" one, you buy a "new" one, if you get what I mean.

The two are pretty much exactly the same except for the thing Blue mentioned and the fact that if you want to paint it the one on the left is gonna be harder to paint. It doesn't really effect performance but it looks crummy if you have an awsome pj but can still see the factory colors inside the gun.
