I'm just wondering on a scale from 1-10 how rare the AT2K is. 1 being not rare at all, 10 being super rare. I ask this because I have one and my kohls/big lots stopped selling them.
It's Nerf or Nothin'!

Since i have owned like 12 in the past year i wouldn't consider them rare because many people can get them in there local kohls and big lots. You can even sometimes find them at target. They are getting less seen in stores though. I would say a 4/10.

They are defiantly scarce. Probably 5/10.

I don't want to sound like a noob but, I thought 2K's were discontinued like ten years ago. Were they?

In stores, because Kohls has stopped stocking toys and big lots stock is spotty, Red 2ks are about a 9/10 in stores.
Between humans, nerfers and others, there still common, so I'd say 4/10 for red 2ks.
Blue 2ks make up maybe 35% of 2ks, so their about a 6/10ish.
The only 2k color I'd say is rare is the green and purple, which are almost never seen. They're a 9/10.
Oh, and the copyright date on the red/blue 2ks we own is 2003, the only blasters that are 10+ years old are blasters like the Splitfire, Supermax series, and Max Force series, and the only decade old design in production is the BBB.
Oh, and 2k holds the title for "Most Horded Weapon", many people, even non-collectors, have been known to hold onto 4, 8, 10+ of them, some even NIB, so the stock of them won't run out soon, no matter what anyone says.

It all depends on your area. Fuck the rest of these noobs.
Bottom line: You will have to go and check your stores.
If you HAVE to give a nationwide stat is this: Fuck you out of ten. Because they are not made anymore and they may or may not be in your region.
