I have recently received a crossbow from my grandfather, who bought it at a garage sale for 1$. I've been working on it for a few days and I've only reinforced the spring rests and couplered it with CPVC. I couplered it like in Pvt. McFlurry's mod in the directory. I'm using the stock plunger tube and it moves around a lot when I put in and take out the barrel. Is there a simple solution to secure the plunger tube inside the shell so that it doesn't move? I'd rather not glue it in, but if need be, I will.

Get some Mighty Putt (R.I.P. Billy Mays), place it in the shell where you need reinforcement, put the plunger tube in to the putty forms a perfect fir, then take the tube out an let it dry.

You should have a good fit now.

The Difference:
-Guns shoot bullets that kill people
-Blasters shoot darts that tag people

I do not play with guns.

Thanks. I'll try hot glue. Does anyone know where to get a 1 1/4" neoprene washer besides ordering it online? I checked Home Depot and Lowes, but couldn't find one. Maybe I was looking in the wrong aisles?

You could try looking at the section with all those slide out drawers. They usually have bolts, nuts, washers, and neoprene washers there. That's where I find a lot of stuff I need.
