Now I know that CaptainSlug already came out with a shotgun foregrip (which in my opinion is better) but I started doing this mod a month before he posted his, (work and a vacation distracted me) and I like the duel handle grips.

I also did Dark Shrimp's High Cap mag mod.
As well as a barrel swap with the longer barrel in the front gun.
I used computer tray runners and a tape dispenser handle.
Yes the runners do get somewhat in the way of the trigger hand but only when cocking the gun, but all you have to do is move your trigger hand down slightly.
Also the black rod is for the clip release because the runners cover it.

Nice, very nice. Good job on making your own!
We should stop calling out/making fun of/pissing GC off. He's actually contributed and is available for trade. He's a better than average member no doubt. Got your back Cole.

You know what... I know it's kinda late... but Props Cole.

I also really like the idea of the clip release extension. Really incraeses the whole idea of not having to move your hands. It looks like you could just use your trigger finger, correct? How exactly did you get that to work?

I just super glued a handle from a comb to the button.
I use the trigger finger and the middle finger on top and the ring finger on bottom to pull the button (to keep the level action from popping off the handel)

Uhh do you realise that there are points on the gun for a sling?
One point behind the rail and another at the yellow sight thing at the front.
It just looks a little odd like that.

The sling is a shotgun sling that works by attacking to the barrel and to the stock of the gun (G.I. Joes $1.99)
Yes I know that there are those two points but I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a sling.

I can already reach the clip release switch with my trigger finger without moving my hand at all. Are you left handed or something?

Try not to post in topics that are over a month old unless you have something significant to add to the topic - and even then do so sparingly and because the world really needs to know. The last post in this was over a year ago (and was also a necro like yours). You can easily PM the original poster for this kind of question. (SPU-Nerf is still active on these forums.)

As I see this is your first post, please take a look at the Code of Conduct - you'll find a link in the upper left-hand corner of your screen. The mods here are not very tolerant of people who don't follow it. Read it, live by it, and you'll enjoy your stay here (plus you won't get banned.)

As for your question, you can buy real gun straps at any sporting goods store, and most department stores with a decent sporting goods section. You can make your own from various materials (including belts, leather straps, backpack straps, fabric, etc.)

Very nice and clean. I can imagine, for me atleast, the foregrip would be very comfy and easy. Nice mod

Ok HOTH, Let's look at the date on the last post, shall we?

"Posted Aug 15 2008, 01:22 PM"

Now let's look at the Code of Conduct:

"Don't post in months-old topics unless you have something significant to add."

See a problem?
