I got the idea to post this after I finished the mod and it worked, so Most of the pieces are already put together, but I think it's not to difficult to understand whats going on so...

Open up your LS
Posted Image
Notice the copper? That's really the only difference between this and Ice singling your LS.

Get the plunger tube open and cut the bolt down like so
Posted Image

Now, get your copper, and put it into the back piece of the bolt you just cut of, fill the empty space with hot glue
Posted Image

Look down at the bolt like this and dremel two slots for the wire to go into, I also have foam on the back of this piece to reduce stress on the plunger head
Posted Image

Take a piece of cpvc big enough for you to hold in your hand, fill one end with hot glue like so
Posted Image

Reassemble the gun to look like my first picture, and put on the other half of the shell

To load darts, I pull of my front barrel and but them in like this
Posted Image
Mine can hold four darts

Before you go and mock me for my all black gun, let me explain. This gun was originally singled, and painted two or three years ago, and I couldn't stand the combination of those two noobish qualities anymore, so I tried to restore to LS's primary feature, which is ROF.

This gun doesn't exactly work perfectly, it's very finicky about darts, and requires a very tight fitting cpvc dart
to cut down on misfires.

If you see any mistakes, point them out to me. Also my apologies for the picture quality, and if you can't understand what's going on, send me a PM

I might make fun of you for your black gun if you had actually shown a picture of the whole thing put together. Seeing as it's all internal pictures, I'm not sure how anyone could.

I thought you guys could tell if a gun was black without seeing pictures of it all put together, or at least that's what it seems like. Any way, here's a pic of the gun put together, and a firing vid.

Ranges??

Think about it. What are typical singled Ls ranges? I'm sure you have one. Then take into account the reduced dead space caused by the darts in the clip, then the increased dead space once the clip is empty. If your knowledge of the range of my gun is important enough for you to waste that post on, I assume you care enough to figure it out on your own.

It was a simple question, and a question that is usually expected in any write up. Don't say "figure it out yourself" like you're so fucking important not to test your gun out and find out what the ranges are.

yeah I'm that guy who made that cool thing with the cool paint.

All right, sorry about that little outburst, but I was disappointed the first response besides Talio's typical poo-pooing was one word. I strided the ranges and with a foot or two of dart skip, they appear to be in the range of 85-75 feet, with the first dart going the farthest.

The gun in a whole seems like it functions well.

You may want to find a way to work out the little problems.

Ranges would be nice though.

I mean I know ranges vary.

It depends on:

1. If you angle it.
a How much you angle it.
b If it's shot flat.
2. How tall you are.
3. Your dart barrel fit.
4 The wind.
5. Obviously the power of your blaster.

Though you can still take the range and give us an idea.

EDIT: Sorry you posted your ranges while I was in the middle of posting this.

I did this a few weeks ago and shared it in the chat room. My variation was to put in 1/2 inch pvc where the original faux barrel was in the ls. That allowed me to increase the capacity to six or seven darts. I had not thought of using the dead space in the new "bolt" as dart storage. It would be great to combine your idea with mine and have an eight or nine shot capacity.

This is an excellent idea. Anyone who singles an LS should this, as it performs the same as a singled LS, but you have the option to load extra darts. Nice idea, it's a simple one, but a great one still.

Edit: And honestly, it should be pretty apparent it gets singled LS ranges. It doesn't take a genius to ballpark what this is getting. And you don't really need to know anything more accurate than a ballpark.

Could someone explain to me how this works? I can't exactly tell from the pictures and I can't view the video (I can't get the Flash Player update because I can't install stuff on this computer)
