[nerf mafia]

Since sonnysonny from nerfhq's account isn't validated here I was asked to post this here for those in the area.

CONO is the first event ill be hosting. I plan to have it once every year. It'll be in Florence KY, about 20 minutes south of Cincy. The date and time are so far undecided. The date and time are up to you guys, throw out some ideas. The war is going down at Boone Woods. (point a if you search google maps Boone Woods Florence KY)

Time: 10:00 - whenever
Date: July 31st yes I know its a friday

Rules

ABSOLUTELY NO HOMEMADE AIR GUNS! I DONT CARE HOW CRAPPY THEY SHOOT!
No singled plugged BBBBs or Titans.
No tack darts (ive seen people try to use them...)
No guns that shoot over 200 feet.
No darts heavier than a nerf ball. The ones that come with the ball blasters. Stefans must have a rubber, glue, cloth, or foam cover.
All darts and guns will be inspected thoroughly, no jutting out spikes on guns, no sharpened brass barrels (lolz) ect.

Swords

Must be made to Dagorhir standards, or Almighty Guru Standards.

All weapons will be tested on you. and if:
you,
the weapon,

break, you will not be able to use it.

If I do go, I'll be bringing printed out crossbow stickers, and unfortunately, yes, I'll be /selling/ them. I'll bring a MVP prize, maybe 2. Which one I give out will depend on the turn out of guests. Might be holding my own pistols dual contest for something as well.

This is such a hectically organized war, the only thing that has me and my guests questioning if were going or not is the attendance roster. No one is staying up to date or anything, so we don't really know who's all going.

I'm bringing 2 guests for sure if I go, how many do you think you're bringing if any?

I will definately be there if you are a definate soothsayer. As long as there is one other person at least to nerf with. I might be able to get my friend to go, but he would have to get a ride with his dad, which isn't too likely with him.

Since noone else has posted... That war was pretty fun, but also got pretty low on people after the first couple of rounds that I made it to. Although I had a great time, and just bought a PAS from bass pro (reason as to why I'm just posting now is becasue I ran up there to get it and also had to stop at a few other stores). The sun and heat were horrid when it came to my guns, but I got a nice tan out of it. I can't wait for another war.

Glad to hear it was fun, but I think Cinci is my driving limit for now, but maybe after I can get more friends into it I'll venture into leaving the state.

I had an awesome time! That place is definately my favorite tri-state location.
Got some awesome footage but there is some bad news. Sauce,check the pocket on the front seat in your van,
you'll know what I mean. So footage will be up in the next week instead of tonight. I had a great time and I think everybody else did too.

Pros:

Cons:
Poor kid at his first war got sick.Thanks for SoothSayer for providing the cell phone.
