Hey, I just finished my nitefinder gunblade;
Its a nitefinder with a nerf sword glued on it, ignore the tape, its just there because the epoxy is still drying

I like it. I was thinking of doing something similar.
I did something like that, I put a cut N-Force and put it as a barrel on my Switchshot. Spetsnaz Knife from Metal Gear Solid 2.

Nice, at the dollar store down the street from my house they sell 50 cent open cell foam swords that work great!
Their super dense too, I've been cutting out perfect grooves in it and added a fake gear box and its basically a nerf chainsaw that you can actually melee with!
I put on a rail and it attaches to my recon and BBB

Haha, looks KINDA cool, but like if you can just saw off the handle and replace it with a wooden handle, and make it around about.... let's say..? at a 100 degree angle from the trigger, then itd be easier to hold as a sword let alone a gun so its more like a REAL gunblade

I was also thinking of using a Maverick instead.

It looks okay, but I don't think just hot glue will hold something that long on for that long.

I've always wanted to do that with one of my LBBs but I just never really got around to it. I have some FunNoodle foam on my NiteFinder just because I like the idea of barrel tapping people without your gun having to be primed, so I love what you did.

Have you tried sword-fighting with it yet? Hopefully the blade doesn't break your NiteFinder at all if you hit something really hard, that'd suck to have it jostle the Plunger Tube a little while in the middle of a war...

Haha this inspired me to make one for my cosplay costume for next years anime con i think in january... But if I had to choose between a maverick and a nightfinder for this.. Id pick the nitfinder... war wise as for looks maverick definately

You glued a blade from a sword onto a NF. This doesn't deserve ANY thread. I wouldn't even post this in the PJ'S thread.

Gotta agree with Nightfinder. Please do not refer to this as a gunblade, it's greatly decieving. A better way of putting it is a fragile bayonet on your nightfinder that's just waiting to fall off and rip the foam.

Might i suggest the following:
take a flip up sight from a recon, remove the flip up part.
Cut about 18 inches off the top of your sword.
Now use gorrilla glue, epoxy, whatever you'd like to attach it to the clip on part.

Now you have an actual bayonet, one that is sturdier and can be attached to any N-Strike gun, as well as easily removed to be used as an offhand weapon for close range.

Or do what I did for shits and giggles, Get a toy knife and glue it to a Sawed off Double Shot.
