I'm still hoping to be there, but my collarbone is still healing, so whether or not I'll actually be nerfing is up in the air. Also, I only have about seven darts, so I either need to find some foam or buy some darts.

Well I broke my xbow almost exactly like twitch's. I'll probally tune in my atk 2000, one of my supermaxx 3000's , or my bbb(the black and green one I used at your war). I might throw my shotgun Titan in the car too. I have a couple secondary primaries, I just wanted to use my xbow. I should be set, I also have a plenty of pistols I can duel wield.

I'll be there, with a definite +2, maybe more but unlikely.

I'll bring the defend the core set up as well.

This will be a blast, I'm getting all my stuff ready and making darts. I probably won't have any to spare/sell though, my foam source apparently changed their source and sent different stuff jammed into a box.

Edit: I'll bring some blasters for sale (A +bow and a pistol splat) and I'm looking for a few things, mainly a BBB spring and LS spring. If anyone has a spare one, I'd really be interested in buying 'em.

That was so fun! My primaries sucked, but I traded for like 8 new blasters so I'll bring something new to the next war. I only have one picture which is that group photo but it's horribly out of focus (I didn't take the picture, lol) so I won't post it unless no one else wants to.

I think you did fine hosting, Andrew. I think putting all the responsibility of controlling everything on one person is kind of silly because if that one person is busy with something, nothing will happen, lol... I think whoever wants to start the game should just scream, that seems pretty efficient (hehe).

Thanks to Mr.BadWrench and Dog9 for the sweet trades. I'm pumped for my new toys!


I can show up at like 12pm (for the last half of it) to any Saturday war in the next two months, if you guys want to start talking about dates and times for the next one, I'm down to play more!

Great war! I had alot of fun for the rounds I was able to participate in. Sorry for bailing out early, but after the "zombie threesome" round, my collarbone started aching again, so I figured it would be best to stop nerfing.

My only real highlight was listening to Lynx try to direct fire during one of the rounds.

"Shoot the guy in the goggles!"
"They all have goggles!"
"Well then shoot the one with the tight ass!"

Someone else heard it too. Weirdest way to differentiate people ever. Fairly questionable.

Im sure you will all be happy to know that the Catch spring in my LS fell out and there was no damage... So It will be returning with me for future wars, maybe with some more spring.... LOL...

So yeah, it was a good war.

Oh, yeah, that quote was from me. I'm a question mark and awkward. It's what I do. Also, it was ghost and I was trying to get back into play.

Anyways here are the +'s and -'s:

+ Getting 2 newbies to show.
+ Them having fun and wanting to get guns.
- Having Will bitch at me for the first 5 rounds because I am the center of all his frustrations.
+ Him apologizing that day instead of...next week. I dunno man, you're weird.
+ Having my friends be good. Like, average nerfers, but not great or bad.
+ Having way to much fun with my 3 nf's: Revolver, 1st Gen and That Blue One.

+ Generally good day for a nerf war. I loved the weather in the morning, but it got sort of hot in the afternoon.
- Generally too much downtime. Part on Prince, part on waiting for people, part on the people.
- Feeling like I didn't nerf enough. Similar to how Guy Montag (451 by Bradbury) felt when he said, "We never burned right"

+ Team DeathMatch: Woods: Getting a decent amount of kills and causing havoc.
- TDM: Woods: Hitting Lisa? in the boob. My bad. My darts get grope-y on me, too.
+ TDM: Woods: Getting a ton of kills on the little dude in the Mets shirt, aka Carlos, aka Beltran, aka Mr 4 hole, aka dog9?.
+ TDM: Playground: Chillin' on the slide, getting 1-2 kills while up there. Shit was cool.
+ TDM: Playground: Cool rounds. Making rushes, going underneath the platforms, standard shit.
- TDM: Playground: Getting no cover and getting out early which was 1 of 2-3 times I went out that early.

+ Capture the Flag: Being sort of suicidal, countering a few rushes, initial taunting, standard shit.
+ CtF: Having Dez aim for my ass (I presented) and then shooting while I was bent over.
+ CtF: Having Dez support my double pistol cause. DP FOR THE WIN! (Wait, not like that)
+ CtF: Making explosions sounds on the other side post Hipponater posting up, just like he told me to.
+ CtF: Hippo getting hit with the flag. Me cleaning up the person who got him, then making a dead sprint back to base.
+ CtF: Doing a dead sprint, spiking the flag like a football, and then feeling dead (note dead sprint).

+ Zombie 3some: Cool game type. Fun and active. Playground worked well.
- Zombie 3some: Running around as the horde and being the last 1-2 left on a human team.

+ Defend the Core: Getting to play a lot of Defend the Core. Sweeping into the defense and charging for a lot of the time.
+ DtC: Bringing that stock Maverick's kill total to 15. 3 taps and 4 shots for the day.
+ DtC: Playing defense, standing in front of the bucket with Baddy's hat and being used as Coop's shield (my idea).
- DtC: Diving for the bucket, getting shot by minsc, then falling and fucking up my wrist.
+ DtC: Nina (I REMEMBERED YOUR NAME!) having an Ace wrap and giving my Tylenol. Kept me playing.

+ Lunch: Creepy guy on bike show up at Wendy's. I say guys, check out the creeper initially pointing to the bike dude, then BadWrench.
+ Lunch: Having all of the war, except 3 people, mobbing a Wendy's with a high dude on the register.

+ Ghost: Playground: Coming back and changing the tide of the round thanks to Nathan (one of my friends).
+ Ghost: Woods: Domination first couple of rounds and having fun.
- Ghost: Woods: Ridiculous rules post rule change. It doesn't make any sense. You just spawn when ever you get near your team. It was silly and I didn't like anything about it.

+ Ammo: Still having 100+ stefans post war (out of 500+). Yay to only making 300 for the next one! (ugh!)
- Ammo: Darts being so wide...(How wide ARE they?)... The darts were so wide, I had a hard time ramrodding them down and they didn't fit that well in my air gun's barrels (didn't slide down).

Kill totals (estimated):
AT2k: 0
1st gen: 3-4
That Blue One: 2-3
Revolver: 5-6
Stock Maverick: 7: 3 (2 taps) in DtC offensive sweep, 2 defensive around the buildings, 1 (tap) running Lisa down, 1 defensive tap on the left side.

Damn Lynx, you just recapped the entire war, not just your highlights... lol. And I really like that location. And since I've been there three times, I don't need to stare at my Mapquest printout the whole time, are you REALLY going to ruin that driving comfort for me by changing locations?!

Wow Lynx that is a complete recap of the day...
Here is mine although not that long.
+Great turn out (20 people)
-Lynx complaining that a respawn point is to difficult to understand
+Came with 400darts left with about 250
-People walking away from games in the middle of a round,1 round of DTC is defend and attack not defend and take a 20min break.
+CTF was awesome although it took more than a hour for a single round
-Lynx thinking that he was in control of the war and being a little impatient
+Having a good laugh or 2 at other peoples expense
-Coop shooting me in the tooth (at least it wasn't the neck this time)
+Not getting shot in the eye
-Matching bruises on my shoulders from Joe

+The nap when I got home
-How sore I was when I woke up

Oops, thanks. I'll get it at the next one if you don't mind bringing it, I'll bring the PVC to set it up again.

Great war, awesome turnout. Only downsides were time between rounds and the breaking of my shotgun while running like hell with the flag. And the heat/humidity.

Also, for the next war, I'll be unable to come any Saturday on an OSU home game... Except 9/19, I think.
