So instead of continuing the already long planning thread I figured I would just make a new thread for the Recap.

Pros
-Seeing so many people a single war (69 by the group photo count)
-Having a ton of fun
-Not being in too much pain (better living through pharmaceuticals)
-Sticking to the basics (elimination and CTF)
-Other people caring when I felt sick

Cons
-So hot
-Taking a while to get started again after lunch (though that should be expected with so many people)
-bit of heat stroke at the end

I had a really great time, even though I came late. Reagent is probably waiting for the raw footage right now.

And the plus: Not many real serious cons.

Pros:
Being there
Conveniently getting there right before the round before lunch started
Meeting quite a few people, namely Red, Apollo, Worsley, Bags.
Buying a Longshot from Blue, which just needs paint and Stefan modded clips now.
Buying a nice NF from Bags, along with two hornet pumps and half of a piece of 17/32".
Going through the first sword CTF round at GHS with said Nite Finder and awesomely getting Spoon after he missed.
Making Falcon happy with FCB (the BBB with a Firefly turret and a single 2K integrated, posted in the Mod and PJ thread)
Actually getting more than one hit within an hour
"I have one life left, I'm gonna rush the other team with a sword".
Not running out of water
Giving darts to the Community bucket
*Spoon's Nostalgic moment with Blue's Crossbow, Splitfire, and (I think) Sharpshooter 2, all stock.
* Watching Falcon play really in sync. It was amazing.
* Watching the barrel on someone's singled titan attachment fly off ten feet. that was funny and scary at the same time.

Cons:

That was easily better than last year, which means we wont have to rename the Fall Caff to Fall Geddon again.

-Hitting 4 people with my Supermaxx right before it broke (Arr! I was feeling it that day)
-Bringing up some friends who had a good time
-Meeting some Northerners, and other guests who flew out.
-Spoon, and ShortShit returning
-Balling Fail Kid 2 in the face with Starburst the Ballgun
-Getting a Titan tank from Bags
-Not getting shot by Tony, and getting to be on his team at least once in the day
-Trying out my Frankenmanta which was fun
-Seeing +bows work well
-Sitting out at the multi-team deathmatch to shoot video and take pics (that probably kept me alive for the rest of the day)
-Aaron's short shorts = priceless
-Victory Cokes that our team bought

Con
-Supermaxx 1500 busting in the middle of the first round
-Darts swelling due to the heat, which also sucked
-Getting shot in the lip
-Fail Kid 1 and Fail Kid 2

-Shooting SoccerDawg in the neck (Why is it that whenever I shoot you it's in the worst places?)
-Leading rushes with Spoon
-The whole weekend being awesome. Pre-war modding night, Watching the fights, swimming at GHS...
-I'm sure that there's alot of footage/pictures from yesterday
-Hitting Numberz 3 times in the last round (Your plus-bow scared me)
-Leading a squad team pretty well (And my voice only cracked once)
-Beasty and Red's Friend (That was his name that day) doing great the whole day
-Sasquatch shooting Fail Kid from point blank with an LBB seconds before the camera went off (Awesome job!)
-Dodging alot of Darts
-Numberz, you're sooo rad
-Effeminate Black Knights group photo
-Alot of fast-paced action
-Pistolsplat (My Sidearm) working quite well
-Going on THE HUNT with Overlord
-Meeting InvAsian and seeing Paddy after playing games online with both of them
-Meeting Ice9 (Dude, you're awesome)
-War being quite organized (Great work Falcon)
-Getting some amazing shots on Axelion and Blue (I was really lucky yesterday)
-Actually getting a hit on Tony

Cons
-The fact that the day had to end...
-Overpumping Captain Morgan
-Hot weather
-Fail Kid I (II didn't bother me as much, he didn't really do anything the whole entire day)
-Not playing with Apollo and Worsley at the same time
-Not shooting/seeing Raw Shrimp all day... (I'll get you next time!)
-Spawning in behind Axelion (We had a fixed spawn point in CTF) and shooting him from 10 feet away. Sorry bro, I didn't like the thought of taking your balls to the face.

Overall, I had a great time and want to thank everyone who came that day. I really look forward to seeing all of you again. Hopefully I'll see ya next year!

This was the best weekend I've had all year, by far.

Highlights:
Meeting all the awesome people around here
Getting some sweet stuff from Blue and Bob
Getting a fair amount of people to sigh my sheath
Playing way better at the second location
"remember, the enemy's gate is down" and the barrage of high fives that followed
Effeminate sword/Magstrike rush on the enemy team, taking down like five people, and still losing the game
That kid's titan attachment flying off every time he tried to shoot it, I laughed every time
My non forum friend getting picked as a CTF leader and him getting ridiculed for not knowing who spoon was
Leading awesome rushes during CTF with Axelion

Not so High-lights
Getting shot by bags from about two feet away with a maxamizer in the nipple. It was hilarious, but it really hurt.

Lowlights
Not staying with Zeke and driving home the same night (at request of my friends)
Losing almost all my darts

Pretty much, it was completely awesome.

-Seeing and meeting everyone

-Seeing the best decal on a blue AT3K ever

Oh holy balls I'm sunburned. That was awesome.

Highlights:

• Making fantastic time to Glendora, getting off the freeway at eight forty five, only to arrive at the warsite at nine thirty. Killed my trip-average thirty miles per gallon.
• Blastfire? Tubing blew before the first round. The SM500 never would've seen use (still too flimsy) and broke between rounds one and two.
• Holy shit, so many people. Nametags were a fantastic idea, but I'm so shitty with names it didn't help too much.
• Wearing my tight-ass jeans allll daaay in hundred degree heat. Oh yeah, I'm a fucking fashionista.
• Ryan, Hilt, and I repped both the "Third Coast" and homemades rather hardcore, although my claims to both of those are rather illegitimate.
• My BRISC (fine, fancy RSCB) performing like a motherfucker all day. RSCB + +bow = yaaaay.
• The multi-team round that lasted more than an hour was cuh-ray-zee. In the end, Ryan and I got cornered by no tape and pink tape. I of course was on my last life while Ryan had one to spare. After he was hit, well... It was a valiant effort. I must've had at least eight guns firing on me at once.
• Meeting some fiendishly cool people, and I'm sure I didn't meet all of them. Bags, Falcon, Redhead, Pants, Bob, and all the other dudes whose names I've forgotten, I look forward to Nerfing with you guys again.
• Nerfing with people I've done so with in the past. Shortshit, Spoon, and Ryan, and others (probably), you guys are all cool people too. I guess Falcon should be on this list, but man, that last war was five fucking years ago.
• Holy shit, the capture the flag rounds after lunch were AWESOME. That was a fantastic area.
• "Okay guys, here's our strategy. How many of you have seen The Mighty Ducks?"
• I got seven kills over six shots with my +bow at the beginning of the first CTF round. Barrel taps are great.
• Barrel taps are GREAT. I got a ton of 'em.
• RSCBs are even better. Rushing is a blast and I know I got some surprise hits on rushers.
• Seeing Team Maximizer FUCK. SHIT. UP.
• Borrowing Ryan's +bow in the last round and breaking it, just like he did in the first round.
• Borrowing Ryan's +bow in the last round and immediately begin to shoot over the heads of everyone, because his seemed to pack more of a punch.
• Borrowing Ryan's +bow and using it well enough to make him say, "Well, I would rush, but Zeke has my +bow."
• Flaming Hilt and I using darts that, for all intents and purposes, were IDENTICAL. Didn't see that coming.
• Getting a Jobar.
• Holding a barrel to a Jobar and, at twelve pumps, outranging EVERY GUN. With just the barrel held in front of the nozzle.
• I was sad that Pants and crew weren't staying over the night. I was more sad to see that was a lowlight, but I did kind of laugh.
• Staying at the site until seven, talking a ton with Bags and Falcon and the other guys who stayed later. That was some fun conversation.
• Dude, Bags, next time I'll bring my DS for after the war.
• I'm getting a Maximizer. Found a seller and shit. Got room for one more, SoCal?
• Giving the +bow a rightful place as a fucking good gun. Hopefully we can disband this "failbow" nonsense.
• That fucking LBB. Bicycle pump. Three pumps and I'm dodging shots with power at eighty feet, gods damn it.
• Did I mention I Nerfed, all day, in tight jeans? I'm a badass.
• I've run out of awesome things to say, the day was just so full of them that my mind can't process it all.
• I can not wait to see the footage and photos.
• I can not fucking wait to go to another one of these.

Shit guys, I'm going to have to introduce you to Defend the Core next time I'm around. As the games American ambassador, SoCal needs to get with the times and enjoy it. It's PERFECT FOR BALLGUNS, EVEN!

I want to thank everyone who showed up yesterday. That truly was the most Effeminate Armageddon in the history of ever. 70 people (Ben showed up for the second half of the day, and wasn't there for the photo.) Wow.

It was wonderful meeting all the new faces and seeing a bunch of old friends again. The funny thing is, we had 70 people, and there were about ten from Southern California that COULDN'T make it. There is SOO much potential on the west coast for Effeminate sized wars it's not even funny.

Everyone was extremely cooperative yesterday, which made my job SO easy. Thank you all for being good sports, cooperating with the rules, and being friendly people. That's what it's all about. I don't think anyone had a bad time yesterday, and that was the goal, so a job well done to all!

Highlights:
-Watching Ryan McNumbers get hit by a skyballed dart-punched shot from an eliminator from 60+ feet.
-Seeing AnyaSeijin come into his own again during CTF.
-Blocking with both of my mantas all day long.
-Consistency coming out of my crossbow's barrel for some ridiculous shots.
-Not getting completely scraped up.
-Still getting a LITTLE scraped up.
-Taking the community's largest ever group photo.
-Being told by a +bow user that they were substantially impressed with my crossbow.

And the greatest feeling ever:
Coming to the end of the day and asking everyone if they wanted to play one more round as they all sat down exhausted, only to be immediately answered with a resounding "One more!" after a solid 7 hours of play not including lunch break.

Although it was an emergency (hey, they happen...) we were able to get a ride to GHS but no lunch cause the person who was giving us a ride had to go home. We were dropped off at the front of the school and I (being as smart as I am) decided to pick the wrong way to go, therefore leaving us in the middle of nowhere. But, out of the ashes someone (urgh, I AM SO SORRY I forgot who you guys were..) some nerfers came out and gave us a ride to the "right" area GHS

Holy shit, what an experience. I was leery about having to nerf amongst that many people, but it was actually awesome.

Highlights:
-Being hosted by and getting to hang with Pilz, Bags, and his wonderful grandparents. Thanks for everything.
-Getting to meet and nerf with Falcon, Bags, Pilz, Worsley, and Tony. You guys would make one hell of a team.
-Having Spoon and Shortshit come back from the dead and meeting and nerfing with them.
-Meeting and hanging with Redhead, the coolest fifteen year old ever.
-Nerfing with I9 and 'Hilt again representin' the Midwest.
-Nametags were a great idea and help me forget less names.
-Multi-team round at Sellers was freaking awesome even though Zeke and I got destroyed at the end. Spoon's tactics never seemed to work for us.
-Group picture was Effeminate
-Meeting the NorCal guys such as Bob, Blue, and CaliforniaPants.
-Rounds were long and intense. I think we only played 7-8 rounds all day but all of them lasted 30+ minutes.
-Team Maximizer! Even though we failed quite Effeminateally. I was ELIMINATED that round. I also got killed by a foam sword. Failure.
-Pre-war modding night tradition, even though for once I was actually prepared. Next year I'll make sure I have plenty of things to work on. Tony is a dart making robot by the way.
-Bags pokemon sight on the Maximizer
-I shot a lot of people in the crotch. And I left a lot of welts.
-Tony's Effeminate LBB. Thankfully I kept my distance from him all day.
-Pokemon in general. Pikachu lunch box=win.
-Failcon, lulz
-I wish there was a Donut Man in Chicago.
-Honorary Member of the S.C.U.N.
-My Effeminate flag run in the Effeminate CTF round.
-Playing at two different locations was really cool. I enjoyed playing at the High school a lot.
-Showing how dominating the +bow is.
-Meeting and forgetting the names of all the other local guys. I apologize...
-...and I Don't Want to Miss a Thing!
-I will definitely be flying out to SoCal next summer, maybe earlier than that. I SHALL RETURN!
