After seeing the tiny hoses or plastic tubes that connects the plunger/piston assemby to the back plate of the DS, I decided to change them to get a bigger air flow and a better range. Check out this video to see want I've done.

In your video you said that it didn't really affect ranges. Why are you posting it here if it doesn't help?

Hardshot, it may not effect it much in it's current state, but with more power behind it, it may make a much larger difference. Good job on aiming for originality, Mik.

Like some the comments you got on youtube, you should try to make the tube smaller to compress more air in to the dart.

I did this a while back to a DS I had laying around ( after I destroyed the first one) I noticed a significant improvement in power. I enlarged the holes in the front of the plunger tubes, the hoses, the holes in the face plate and the holes in the backs of the shells. the companion mod to this and it really completes the whole package is putting cpvc in the shells.

Discretion is the better part of valor, thats why I carry a very big axe.

You can fool some people all of the time and everyone some of the time, but you cant fool all the people all of the time, but it sure is fun trying.

What have I got in my pocket? (tolkien)
