hey guys i have a new mod for the big bad bow

i am very sorry for no pictures but ill try to explain it the best as i can!

ok soo materials
1.sch.40 CPVC
2.saw
3.sand paper (any kind)

4.philips head screwdriver

Step 1 . take apart the gun



Step2. and in the main barell there will be a huge air restrictor take that out and throw it in the garbage you wont use it anymore

Step 3 .put your gun back together

Step 4 . Dake your sand paper and sand inside the barell which has nothing in it anymore , sand it until the CPVC can fit in the barell

now load ur stefan in the bottom of the barell or dart in the front of the barell and cock then shoot

right there you have a 105 ft. flat shooting

angled 130 ft

Interesting using the stock barrel for a coupler of the CPVC. Doesn't the CPVC fit into the stock barrel without sanding?

I guess the sanding was to remove the four ridges used to keep the air restrictor in.

No its doesn't and have much sanding did you do? I had to heat mine up with a blow dryer just to get it in.

That is not a new mod for the BBB. It has been done many times before.

Way easier: sand down the cpvc to fit into the barrel.

well i havnt seen any mod like this on youtube except for uin13 which had cpvc fit into PETG but i havnt seen 1 right in the original barell

If you mean that it "seems bad" because people doubt the claimed ranges, don't worry about it.
It likely doesn't shoot as far as the original poster says, but even if it's more like 70-90' that's not bad at all.
You're probably not going to hit someone at that distance anyway.
If you are new to modding it may be better to try a Nite Finder for your first mod. There's nothing wrong with doing this to a BBB and it would be easy, but you would have to ramrod stefans down into the barrel.
I think a better idea for the BBB would be to chop off most of the stock barrel and put a coupler onto it. The BBB is cool because you can put a cpvc coupler into the inside of the plunger tube and a pvc coupler on the outside allowing you to use a lot of different types of barrel set-ups.
Check out this mod, especially the couplers.
