Ryan- Could you weigh the balls for extra oomph? Maybe cut one ball open (like a slit) and spread it so you could get some weights in there?

If I may, I want to make another suggestion for people doing this mod, but aren't replacing the plunger head.
If you don't replace the plunger head, then don't put the cpvc coupler entirely in the front of the plunger tube. Rather, dremel/file it out a little more so the coupler extends ~3/16" out of the front. This will make sure the plunger travels as far as it can.

I'd have to modify the plunger rod to travel further down the plunger tube, in that case, and perhaps even alter the catch point.

I think because your replacement has less dead space than the stock one, so you can afford to have the coupler taking up more space. The plunger still travels the same distance, though.

I extended the plunger rod travel on my scorpion bow and it made a world of difference but it was a pain in the ass to do. The only reason I did the mod was because I put too strong a spring inside and it broke of the plastic inside that stops the plunger rod(the piece that goes threw the slot in the plunger rod).

HOLY SHIT!

I know people say this a lot, but dizzy you have some of the most original mods I have seen in a while, with the art of painting blasters like a god. Great job!

Ps: I like the way you don't have to type out your write-ups, you just write them.

I have a post-war update.

I used this at PANO for a couple rounds with very good results. I replaced the stock spring with a [k26] spring from McMaster-Carr, and currently I'm hitting 105' flat with my darts and 9" CPVC barrels. I opened the blaster up after PANO and found no signs of wear, just a bit of compression on the craft foam cushioning I had placed inside. The craft foam should be very easy to replace if it ever wears out completely, which I don't anticipate happening anytime soon.

With a bit of FBR silencing, the blaster fires very quietly compared to other spring-powered blasters of its caliber (most notably, the Big Bad Bow).
