So here's your stock SSPB:
Next remove the four screws and you should find this:
Now cut the barrel at this point where it first gets thinner:
Now we have to drill this out:
It should look like this when you’re done (I used a dremel for this):
Now cut a small bit a 1/2" PVC like so:
Now wrap one lay of e-tape around this part:
Now glue on like so:
Now cut about three inches of your barrel material (PETG, or Brass (I used17/32 with some PETG-like material on the end)):
Now glue that into the PVC:
Now you've got a sturdy and cleanly modded SSPB! Thanks to Coop for selling me the blaster.

I would do this, and integrate it into something if my SecretShot hadent sprung a leak a while back

I think you mean Secret Strike, not Secret Shot.
The glasses are from the dart tag set, they're very common.
Nice mod, but I don't think this is really cleaner than the other peoples. And exposed brass isn't a great idea, it can dent easily.
On the other hand, the guy who posted before me used the word 'fuck' a lot so he probably knows what he's talking about.

Nice mod although it's nothing revolutionary. I had a secret strike lying around with all the materials so I decided to do it. Now I can't get the god dam screws out of it. Has anyone found the screws to be particularly tight on this gun?
You may have stripped the screws, or if your lucky you may just be using a bad screwdriver.
Very cleanly done, but as Coop said, brass is easily dented.

Very nice. I especially like the internal view head-on. Very clean.
Yes, it's been done before, but that doesn't mean each new write-up doesn't have the chance of bringing something new to the table.
As for ranges, I've heard claim 70' with a plugged pump, but mine is leaky so it gets 25'-35' immediately after pumping.
I've also heard quality control on these are abysmal, with DoAs at the 20-40% rate.

SPV999: That's to bad. Ya, the glasses come with any dart tag guns.
Coop: Thanks, I haven't worked with brass that much, but I'll try to get it covered soon.
fandango202: Yes, I know. I just thought I'd post it because I personally haven't seen anything like it before. No, I didn't notice the screws being especially tight.
white moonlight: Thank you.
Hi Yah!: I didn't really think about that at the time.
taerKitty: Thank you.

I would just like to know how you get 50-60 foot ranges and where you get brass?
All i did is what you see in the write-up. I've got brass at Ace, and True Value, but the best place to look is a hobby shop.

Thanks, and yes a hobby shop is the best place to look for any sized brass.

I have never seen brass at any hardware store in my life. I once tried almost the same thing with petg and the dart would barely leave the barrel.I would just like to know how you get 50-60 foot ranges and where you get brass?

Ace Hardware seems a frequent referral, and my local Ace has K&S brass in 1' length for appx $4 a tube (varies a little with diameter.)I have never seen brass at any hardware store in my life. I once tried almost the same thing with petg and the dart would barely leave the barrel.
As for performance, SSPBs vary in quality a lot. You could have had a DOA.
