I thought taking the green thing off the top would solve the angled shot problem, but it hasn't. What makes the shot straight instead of upward?

The way you hold it and pull the trigger makes the shot inaccurate. Shoot very slowly and observe what the gun is doing and what the dart is doing. This is really common because of the handle design of that series. Possible fixes include weighting the gun a bit to increase it's rotational inertia or building up the handle so that it's more comfortable in your hand. I simply got used to the way I need to hold it and practiced a bit and the problem went away.

Yea, basically the gun just plain fires high. Always does. You just have to adjust for it. Most people can get used to it after a while, to this day I NEVER have been able to, which is why I don't use a LnL.
Two roads converged in the woods, and I took the one less traveled......and now I don't know where the hell I am.
