Hello Everyone, I have been gone for quite a while now, during the time I have been gone I have been overly obsessing with video games. I cant even recall the last time I had a nerf war. So this is why I am here, I want to get back into nerf but I am to addicted to video games I need your guys' help.

As for the game addiction, if it's on things like the wii or whatnot, take the power cables, give them to your parents, and tell them not to give them back to you for a month.

If it's for online games, disable the internet and mod a few guns.

Realize this: You like video games because they are exciting, entertaining, and give you a sense of accomplishment. Instead of getting good at a game, get good at biking or running or dancing or kite flying. You can get the same excitement, entertainment, and accomplishment but you get out, get fit, and loose less time trying to master some fake reality created by a nerd who gets paid to sit around all day.

Stop investing money in it, it's as simple as that. Just play some of the games you have but limit yourself to how much you play. Take it from me, My only system is a used slim ps2 that I bought from gamestop ($80) and I bought ONE game for it, which is resident evil 4. I play 30 minutes a week/or month and I rarely have an urge to play it. I mostly play my guitar, so like Qui'lan said, get good at something that can keep you fit, and get your brain going! Don't let electronics take over your life. And if you think you "have to" play your system because you spent alot of money on it, your wrong. Take a break and ditch that shit.

Or better yet.....MODDING!! What this site is all about!! The sense of accomplishment I get from completing a mod is alot more than beating some video game.
