Great war, just as awesome as last year or even better.

Highlights:
-Only my 1500 broke (easy fix)
-Big Blast served me well.
-Meeting new people like Zorn, Reece, and Scatman
-Playing new games like Defend the Core and the Zombie game
-Not having to run my own war
-Hot chicks that Julian, Max, and I were very distracted by.
-Damn skinny kids were hard to hit
-Nerfing with the north suburb crew again (Gage, Scott, Aaron, and Nate), always a lot of fun.
-Watermelon
-Getting rid of huge, waste of space guns.
-Effeminate flag win with Zorn
-The satisfaction of hitting Carrtoon after numerous near-misses.
-Hitting Reece, a lot, in the face/neck
-Seeing a singled Maximizer shoot.
-Carrtoon showing up pretty early, walkinng up to us and saying "Looks like a bunch of nerds to me"
-Carrtoon's reaction when he saw a L+L
-Proving how damn effective RSCBs are.

Lowlights:
-People leaving early
-Hottest weather I've ever nerfed in
-Caffeine had troubles finding the park

So, as far as the next war goes, I was thinking on July 11th, we have a small tune-up war for the locals, and the people not going to Armegeddon. On July 17th or 18th, Hilt was thinking about having a war at night (like from sunset to sunrise), but this is still unsure due to curfew and location complications. And on July 25th, we will have the make-up SOF war. How does this work for everyone else? I am considering moving my tune-up war to the 18th because then there won't be problems with Armageddon and CHANO 3. We could always have the night war later, if we have it at all.

Now now Sam, I posted about you. I even said you were the glue that holds the vets together. How could you miss that?

Venom, I have to vote for the warm-up on the 11th. While Ryan and I will be at Armageddon, I think it doesn't matter as much who shows at the warm-up war... as... it's a warm-up. At the least, if we have to choose between a warm-up and a night war on the 18th, I'd choose a night war. I think it has the potential to kick start something new and awesome.

Et oui, SoF on the 25th.

I will post a thread soon for a night war, as per the requests of numerous people. I have three locations in mind. Someone - probably Paul or Julian - should spend an evening with me scouting out these three locations. I think all three would work well as daytime war locations as well. I know highland is well established, but I like mixing things up.

My weekends in July are full-ish - I'm probably going to be busy every weekend except for the SoF weekend. Regardless, the 11th is probably a good time to have a tune-up war, since it falls on the same day as Geddon and ChANO 3.

I'm making a note here: huge success.

It's hard to overstate my satisfaction. References.
Anyways that was a fun war but a bit humid for me. I wish I could have stayed longer. Can't wait for the next war and to nerf with out of state people again.

Are we talking about doing a war a week in July (not counting the 4th)? That sounds awesome, I'll have to make some more darts in preparation.

I'm willing to help scout locations.

Just a note to Tators: I have what appears to be part of one of your RSCB's and a pair of sunglasses that look like yours.

The sunglasses are mine just bring them to the next war. The piece of the rscb belongs to Julian I think.

Instead of a July 11 war, you should all come to ChANO 3 instead.

Or 'geddon, but airfare is going to run you down a few hundred at this point.

I agree with Zorn. Beaver said he might come out for the Chicago Showdown or ChANO3. I'd love to see you guys in Chicago! I'll be out there again for the SoF war in later July. Let's make this happen

Depending on how many people can go to, or if I can go to Chicago will decide whether or not I will have the July 11th war. Who can give me a ride? I will pay for some of the gas.

I will be in the area on the 11th, but I may be busy (I'll be at the Bristol Ren Fest).

Update on the night war:
I looked at two of the locations last night, and both had some seedy characters hanging around, so I'll scratch that. I think we could still have a war in the Knoll area of the University of Minnesota, and could probably get into the civil engineering building to have an indoor war as well.

Well shit, why don't we have this thing inside? Or perhaps have part of it inside. I can handle playing inside when its dark better than outside. I do think the the U has the best options for this. Is this civil engineering place large enough to have the indoor winter wars that we've been seeking a location for?

Well, after getting back from summer camp, I want to say that, for my first war, was AWESOME!!! There where some pretty Effeminate shots, dodges and fails. and luckely I only got hit 6 times ( I'm a coward. And a noob). But I loved the dtc rounds, as well as the noobs vs. vets. I was supprised noobs won. I am deffenately looking forward to the war next year.

It's probably mine. It's the one that shoots out right? I remember I actually was looking at where your stuff was for it, but I couldn't find it.

Hilt told me that he's waiting until the end of the year to make the video. It's going to be a compilation of all the wars.

Yeah I think I put it in my bag when we moved out of the sun into the shade after a zombie round. I'll be sure to bring it next war.
