Who cares Iron? It's one more user we don't have to take ten minutes to understand what his posts are saying.

Kind of off topic, but what's with all the new guys lately? I know I'm still new I guess (8 months?) but there's a ton of them.

When you die, if you get a choice between going to regular heaven or pie heaven, choose pie heaven. It might be a trick, but if it's not, mmmmmmm, boy

Good question.

I'm pretty close to disabling new registrations until Karma is implemented. I'm so fucking tired of scolding then deleting the cheesenerfer/sharpshooter/gaybo of the day

Congrats Cx, you're the first to take the obvious cheapshot. ^_^

[I've just been 'round a few of alluded topics, and I feel your pain, Cx. Ignore what remains below solely for record purposes.]

If you're getting tired of parsing new users, I'd suggest just forwarding them to NHQ upon their registration attempt, and letting them register upon acceptance of a formally written request (with hyperlinked references to topics showing good conduct); if you want to be elitist.
Then we'll be Dickhaven. With our trademark use of imagery, it'll have so much depth! :)

I'd suggest you just temporarily channel some power to trusted users. Karma will be much faster and anonymous in its elitist swath. I know your mission is clear and simple by the very name of this site, but freezing registration is an insulting and otherwise inaccurate defense. With flood control active as it is, perhaps you could code to automatically [temporarily] freeze an account upon double-post, or frequent and uglified grammatical errors in titles. Because poor communication is what it all boils down to, isn't it?

That's really weird considering you'd been trying to get guns in the Trading forum as of late. Well have fun with you plastic bb guns.

You'd be surprised how many people have used that excuse.

Like I said I'm sorry, you could have sent me a message saying don't post or something.

Also, most of my posts are legable.

Sorry, I still haven't mastered the power of foresight and I didn't know it was my responsibility.

It's really funny how a lot of new people wrote crappy posts, were scolded by administrators, then said they were "bored, tired, grumpy, just got dumped, etc."
