So, I was hanging out with Ash last night, and our conversation turned to the war the Mag7 and I have coming up next weekend. Ash hasn't nerfed since the deal war we threw in '07, and I was wandering what weapons he still had, and in what state of repair they were. He informed me that he had a few guns he hadn't even touched yet. Then he showed me this.

Upon further examination...

"No ash, no. these are pretty much worthless. The best I can offer you is a handshake and some kind words."

Still sealed.

Unfortunately Ash only barters in human souls and antique bottle caps, and I had neither on me at the time.

Wow, not only are those X-bows NIB but the guy even has the box that the boxes came in.
Were these things even popular back when they were available in stores.
Or did this guy randomly pick a gun at the time to buy a box of boxes.
Either way that's still cool.

These were sold on eBay a while back when some lady found a whole pallet, and shipped in the original packaging. The box they were shipped in was cut down. It's just two, in a box labeled four.

Ash, like the rest of us horsemen, collected crossbows for about a decade (check his member #), as they were all we used. He just never needed to mod these two. He has a bunch of packages splitfires and larami supermaxx 1000s for the same reason, though I imagine the latter were always really just trade bait.

Actually, I had plans to use the splitfires... but alas now I just have 6 of them still in the packaging that I never touch.

What did Nerf Special Forces do?

I know that 2 crossbows were recently sold by one person, but they appeared not to be NIB.
