Plus-bow Spring Questions

Next question, I know people have used 1/2 of a Plus-Bow spring for PAS's. What kind of ranges do those get? Right now I have a BBB, Recon, and the stock. Just wondering if anyone knows, will a Plus-Now spring give me similar or better ranges?
**Side note** Ahh my 100th post, I feel like I have a life.

1. I don't recall anyone trying that. Typical replacement is a section from an AR-15 spring, which has different measurements.1. I was just wondering what size of Plus-Bow spring do you guys use. Also how do you reinforce the boltslead. Pictures would be lovely.
2. What kind of ranges do those get?
2. I get roughly 120 feet from the Pump Shotgun using only a shortened +Bow spring. I can't give you any input on the length I cut it to though.

The other day I was trying to put a Plus-Bow spring in my LS, It wouldn't catch. I cut the spring to about 4", and put 3 pen springs on the catch. Then I took eveything out and put it back. Nothing. Then I removed all the springs and checked if the catch was working, it did. I was just wondering what size of Plus-Bow spring do you guys use. Also how do you reinforce the boltslead. Pictures would be lovely.
The plusbow spring probably can't compress that much to be able to work in a LS. I would think 4" would work, but I guess not.
As for the bolt sled, there are some write-ups for reinforcement.

I know Ice Nine used 1/2 of it in his double PAS, But he clipped them so I cant get ranges for that. Its worth a shot.
Yea I guess it can't. Note to self , Plus-Bow spring+LS=BadThe plusbow spring probably can't compress that much to be able to work in a LS. I would think 4" would work, but I guess not.

I'll look some more.

Wasn't that singled?I think the one Wes modded for Stealthman had a shortened PlusBow spring. That shit punctured Jewstein's skin at 30 ft.
Im not singling mine.

I've seen that, Its an option. How much is carbon fiber?Reinforcement in sig, so far my boltsled has held up to a LS+BBB+RFSG spring combo.

Yeah, but the Carbon Fiber sounds cooler. You won't need the "carbon" fiber glass. Regular fiberglass will do just fine. Any fiberglass composite will be strong enough. I would also suggest bidirectional over uni for this application.
As a general note, any spring that overpowers a reinforced catch should be replaced with one that doesn't. Just because it gets good range doesn't mean it's good for the gun.
(I forgot to take a picture of my own poppers)
Every size rod you could ever want.

Finally after 2 months the bloody welt is gone but I still have this neat scar.I think the one Wes modded for Stealthman had a shortened PlusBow spring. That shit punctured Jewstein's skin at 30 ft.
ps: sorry about the delayed post

Most people don't use anything near that thick, so I am curious as to what you are up to? I'd offer to sell you some, but alas... I used all that I had when I upgraded the bullet proof glass on my pope-mobile.

It's not the fact that I want a super strong gun, it's just what I have.Yeah, but the Carbon Fiber sounds cooler. You won't need the "carbon" fiber glass. Regular fiberglass will do just fine. And yes carbonfiber sounds cooler, and more expencive.
