Two questions if I might Dizzy, seeing as I have an EaB just awaiting modding and some cosmetic TLC. (Her previous owner mustn't've been very nice to her.)

1) What was the final build cost?

2) Does this mod eliminate the expanding of yon EaB? I do quite enjoy the shock factor that pulling that lever provides.

1) What was the final build cost?

The washers and screw cost me $1.00 each, but I bought those in packages. Individually, they'd be about $.10 each or less. A sheet of craft foam is $.25 or less. I already had the other supplies, and I got the inner tube for free from a bike shop (it had an irreparable leak).

All and all, I only spent about $3 on supplies, though I could have gotten away with as little as 50 cents of expenditures.

The barrel replacement goes where the expanding barrel extension is on the stock blaster, but the expanding stock should still work fine assuming all the pieces are still in place.

Was this mod, at all, hard to do?

Not really. The hardest part was getting the cuts right on the inner tube so that the plunger head would make a good seal. There was no body work involved other than cutting off the original plunger head nub.

I've fucking had it. No one ever said Expand a Blast's suck. In fact there is a mod for one that CX did years back. You can even see him using it in one of the Armageddon video's. I don't know how you get this shit into your head.

The part that says"This gun should not be bought" is a bit disappointing.

I personally like the EaB, the one i used was good until there were too many rubberbands/bungies attached and it broke.

Back on topic: i like this mod, and love the paint job!
