I'm in the process of making a Longshot with a titan integration. I have pretty much everything done except the trigger for the titan. I was going to use a simple wire to keyring trigger for it.

I have some 50lb test Monofilament fishing line, and I was wondering if that will be able to hold up to pulling the titan trigger.

It really should. The question about fishing line is durability, though.

I was planning on running it through straws or something, to try to prevent it from rubbing on the plastic shell.

Also, if you have a suggestion for something that would work even better, I would really like to know.

Well, I've seen some pretty thin but thick wire at my local DeNault's hardware. I think it's like a brance of Ace Hardware. You should look for that.

I've used picture hanging wire.

And you could use steel aircraft cable.

I use piano wire.
From a piano that fell off of a bridge..

It's very strong but will break if bent too much.

I just found some 18 guage "galvanized steel wire" in my garage. It only has a "safe work load" of 25 lbs though. Which would be better? Or should I go to Ace and look for some heavy duty shit.

Old wire coat hanger, and instead of straws, Bic pen tubes would be sturdier.

Just use brake cable from a bicycle. Its strong, has a protective sleeve so you can run it long distances, and because of the setup you don't have to make a straight connection (you can weave it around stuff).

I use the springs from the air restrictors and if you need to turn or make an angle to go around something ,I use a bent piece of brass tubing to run it through. Make sure to flare the end of the tubing and lube it or it will wear out quicker.

Ask her if she wants you to give her a multiple orgasm.
And when she looks stunned show her a picture of the blaster.

It also has a large bend radius. I recently did a writeup about using a bicycle brake cable to work a trigger and you can see how the cable is not very flexible in those pics.

I'm guessing you can't get it to conform to a tighter bend radius than 2" or so, which will work if you're going to H.R. Giger it on the outside of your blaster (like how some people run air hoses), but if you're looking for a clean, fully internal integration, you may want to try something else.

The wire you have should work.

For my integrations I use weedwacker string. Its crazy durable.

That should work since I am just using string since I was to lazy to use anything else. Heh its still holding strong.

I'd stick with the Monofilliment. Its going to have some give and not snap on you like metal wire will.
a doubling up of it will get the job done and not leave you worrying about it breaking.

I use stainless steel necklace wire. It breaks at 40lbs and if you double it up, it quickly becomes difficult to break.

Experiance from fishing tells me that 50 pound test is very strong, and you can get away with 15 pound.
