I use The bbb+silver Ls spring combo. I'm planning on doing a Pvc barrel replacement. I've searched 5 times, and found nothing. Should I keep the dart tooth?

Are you singling it? If not then no dart tooth I think.

If you single it, you can't keep the dart tooth. You replace the bolt and barrel/dart tooth with a CPVC coupler or T-coupler.

Rec0n Industries, if you are keeping the clip, keep the dart tooth. The absence of one causes a small amount of air to escape the hole where it used to lock into place. If any of my facts were wrong, please correct me.

Actually, I believe the dart tooth pushes the dart into the barrel. Without it, the dart won't go into the barrel all the way, causing less of an air tight seal.

So yes, if "cliped" keep the dart tooth.

The dart tooth is used to push the dart into the real barrel(the one that moves). There is no seal with the fake barrel even with the dart tooth.

Edit: Dang it, you beat me to it.

I'm planning on doing a Pvc barrel replacement.

What do you mean PVC barrel replacement? If you mean CPVC then you must be singling it, but you're not so... specify?

I'm going to try to make a barrel replacement out of Pvc, to give my streamlines more accuracy. Basicly, I'm trying out a barrel matieriel that I haven't seen used before in a Ls. I'm also going to put a piece of Pvc in the part of the bolt that holds the dart, so the dart can stay centered and i can rip out the piece that the peg is connected to, to give full air flow.

Does this make sense?

PVC's too wide for darts. I mean, it fits snug on my 5/8 stefans, but...

If you're using CPVC, then maybe, but it won't accept clips. Unless I'm misunderstanding, and you're using the stock breech with a new barrel, in which case, good luck aligning them.
