So apparently you can get a new "free cylindrical cover" for the back end of the Recon, where the orange plunger would usually pop out when armed. The reason stated was that the 1st gen which doesn't cover the plunger could catch your skin.

Sorry if this was talked about before or if I should have posted this somewhere else, I tried but couldn't find it in the search.

Edit: So I just tried to see what information was required and as far as I can tell they will send it under any circumstances as long as you fill the form out. Now I'm not sure if you can do this outside Canada or USA, though.

It's been out for a long time, I think Febuary? Anyways, it does work, and it's free, not sure about now though.

Alright, sorry I couldn't find it. Anyhow, they still have the link for the free cover, apparently it's thicker than the old ones, and maybe someone needs a new one? Otherwise we can just let this thread die.
